Hey, when I saw the title I thought this was a recreation of Wildwood NJ's defunct Hunt's Pier, but it's not. I was making one myself, since I visited Wildwood and Hunt's Pier in my childhood (1980-1983). What happened is that William Hunt (the son of the founder William C. Hunt) sold the pier following the 1985 season. Much of the older rides were demolished by the new ownership in early 1989 like the wooden coaster, etc. It originally opened in 1957 on the site of Hunt's Ocean Pier which burned Dec. 1943. www.funchase.com and www.mrboardwalk.net have plenty of photos of this pier. Morey's Piers now dominate Wildwood. The only ride left standing is the Golden Nugget Mine Ride which was open last in 1998 when the pier was known as Dinosaur Beach (1996-1998) Now, it is owned by next door neighbor, former competitor Morey's Pier and used for go-kart rides. A far cry from what it used to be. This pier had several themed, and dark rides including the Golden Nugget. It is hoped that the Golden Nugget Mine will run again in 2006. Wildwood also had a walk-through haunted attraction called Castle Dracula which was built in 1976 over the 1919 old mill ride (which became the Dungeon) next to the 1919 wooden coaster which was torn down fall 1984. The castle burned down 2002. A waterpark was built next to the castle in 2000 at the former amusement pier ride area (1985-1998). Wildwood was once my favorite place, but now they're destroying the town with all the demolitions of 1950's motels for condos. And the piers have changed alot, with less dark rides and more thrill rides. Oh, I have Hunt's Pier Wildwood in RCT3 almost complete, I need Soaked to have the tunnels for the Golden Nugget Mine ride since I used the land for the ride building, and wild mouse with double car trains which is the closest I could do, the real ride has mine car trains like the wooden wild mouse, but in RCT3 that only lets you have 1 car per train unlike RCT2. The Western themeing is perfect for the Golden Nugget. There are fake cactuses on the rooftop where the ride winds around outside before dropping down to the second level to head into the mine for the rest of the ride, look at the pictures of the real ride (Golden Nugget Mine Ride in Hunt's Pier section) on the websites, you will see what I mean.

like this you put th tag then without a space aftern it put your url e.g (take out all the spaces0 [img ]http://www.whatever.com/image then close it of by putting on the end with no spaces so it comes out like this http://www.whatever.com/image[/img ] then remove the space i put it otherwise it would be a red cross you see then if you do that with a proper link you get this

is this scenery mixture intended? it looks a little strange to me.
however, if you are finished, your park becomes one of the most colorfull and mixed for sure.

youve done mostly everything right, but there is a whitespace bevore the http:// ... delete this and you got it

i dont know if you know but, if you dont want the white behind the words. Under the shape icons, Just under the middle of the tool bar it has the blue and pink shapes, one with white and one that is transparent. Choose the transparent one.

I would not call a one second movie with no music a video! It was a waste of my rapidshare *thingies* I recommend not downloading it...it will just waste your rapidshare counter and....But, on the other hand, the park does look good!

1) This video isn't nearly 50MB... its only 2MB

2) While editing with Windows Movie Maker, you can not only add the music, but change the quality to get much more video for the size.


It's an interesting looking park so far, but the only thing I can recommend is maybe to make your updates bigger. Repeatedly posting with only one sentance or just one pic can get a little.... hmm, I don't know the word. But the best parks are ones that save the updates for when they have a lot to report. MHO

That ride Gorgon's Inferno looks like a copy of Dante's Inferno on Morey's Pier from the incline to the second level and the parts that go outside and back in. Dante's just got an all-new makeover this year into a haunted castle theme, it was more of a hell theme before. My recreation of Wildwood is more accurate. My Hunt's Pier is laid out exactly like the old Hunt's Pier was in the 80's, all the rides are in their proper place. With tunnels in Soaked, I'll be able to have the tunnels for the indoor portion of the Golden Nugget, since I used land for the building. And the steel wild mouse with two car trains (wooden mouse has the mine cars but you can't have 2 cars per train).

I almost finished my Golden Nugget Mine Ride, it looks just like the real thing. I'm making a more accurate Hunt's Pier and Wildwood Boardwalk and the rest of the piers, based on 1980 because there were more dark rides back then and I like dark rides. I might do a current version of Wildwood as well. Also, there's a ride in Soaked called Hop On Hop Off Trams, that would be perfect for the boardwalk tram cars.
