You download the set, place it in rct/style/themed as usual then you google seach for a space picture, put it in my pictures, load the game and then place the door, click it and then the billboard icon and choose the picture.

You can make it out of smaller objects not a huge cs building because that would be a polly monster.

It's around here somewhere, You referring to a Resort Hotel or the Hollywood Towers Hotel?
Either way I think they're both found in the Buildings section of the forums.

kyle you can find it on some german rct3 site and its easy to follow, I am not quite sure the adress but I can think of a set that can link you to it its by some guy which made a gold mine set and his name started with P, he only has that one cs kit.

CS are objects made by other users that work in the game as scenery, the in game scenery isnt CS (Custom Scenery) its just plain scenery.there are hundreds of CS sets on the forums, CS isnt one big package, think of it as another category in your scenery section :):):)

Not at all. People decide to make things based solely on whether they feel like making it...this isn't a 'post here and your wish will be filled' thread. People look through here, and if they feel like making something they will. The vast majority of ideas posted here never get made, so it's not a case of anyone treating you as an outcast at all. If someone is interested in making your request - they will. If they aren't - they won't. Nothing personal.

^Wild has a tree that is very similar to the tree of life. MGP also did a tutorial on how to make big trees.

The_Cook made some and the ones in game are not too blocky just build a building and the add cs around it and on it and it looks great.
Edit: Adam theres a tutorial on how to make a large tree, You can use that to help you.

MaxInfinity made something called "old pyramid" That in my opinion, is perfect for building ancient temples.

dont know if it's already made or if its even possible... would "light" ride-events be possible? what i mean is, for example.. on a dark-ride.. then you go by a certain prop and it lights up?
so say.. the light would only work as a ride event, light up for a couple of seconds, then turn off, waiting for the next coaster car

Its probably the worst thing you can do if they are making a set for you.

i suppose i see what you mean robin but basic CS in sketchup is rather easy
more complicated stuff i.e. what youre doing right now :) are alot harder to comprehend but for football scenery it should be easy. basically a right angled triangle prism with alphas :)

I use Disney Castle objects and Mainstreet objects to create the venetian houses en shops plus water.. but i don't have a good cieling.. I need one with clouds (like the original las vegas venetian..)

Can anywone create some cielings? Like 4 or someting..

I know there are billboards made for ceilings, but I'm wondering if anyone knows if they were made double-sides, so that the image also appears on the BOTTOM? If so, you could perhaps raise them up to ceiling height and use a billboard image of the sky of your choice.

You can use the fun house in game if you use the options.txt cheats to remove the collision detection. It's near enough the same thing tbh...

Have you looked through all the different sets with custom billboards to see if there's some that would work? The reason I suggest that is that your signs are pretty park-specific rather than something the majority of people might also use. If a billboard won't work then perhaps someone will consider it.

I'm currently making my first "Real Park" on RCT3, which is Panama Cities "The Miracle Strip". The park ran from 1963 to 2004, and it has a lot of crazy exterior ride designs like this one. I don't think people know how to make the concert performers yet, so just a big stage with stadium seating would be kewl. I guess the person would just be custom-made and moves around like anything would move on a flat ride =D. Most theme parks have shows, now having interactive ones would be kewl.

Okay, again I;m not sure how difficult a request this is but no animatronics or particle effects this time.

I was really hoping someone might be able to make me Hydroponic-themed tubes that can be used to enclose the track on all FLAT turns and also on straight and diagonal flat, gentle, steep, and vertical slopes? And maybe a wall-piece that the tube ca fit into? Also, an arched roofpiece that is angled for gentle and steep slopes would be awesome too!

I would be using this to attempt to complete my sci-fi themed dueling coaster that wil be using mainly hydroponic theming.

**If someone does have the time to make this for me, the piece don't need to be loaded with the plant details on the side. They don't need the plants at all if it's too hard. Whatever's easiest! I just want to be able to use them :)

Are you looking for something actually 3D, or rather something that's flat and just the white part. The first would be really high poly, the second much easier to do. o you have a larger version of the logo, that might help.

Yep, an alpha is where the black becomes transparent, leaving just the white. I tried to sharpen the image, but it's a difficult one to work with, and there are no supports to it - it's just the logo. This one is 2 tiles wide by same height, a true 3D logo would require a huge number of polys and could add a lot to lag, and just something I can't do for you. BUT... I did set this so that it glows white at night.

Do you need other sizes? I still need to tweak it so that it can be two sided and look right from each side. Barring any thing else I can probably have it done tomorrow probably.

Is there no way you could even give it a really small thickness? Just to make it a little 3D?
This is because ideally I wanted to support it on its own. With the one you have there, it will need to be placed on a board or wall; which isn't a problem, but I just had this idea in my head for it!
As for sizes, I haven't planned to use this anywhere else in the park but I may end up doing so; so could you create a range of sizes?

I tried working with this as a 3D object and quickly gave up on it, sorry. I did try making it thicker by using a trick called 'sandwiching' where you use multiple layers of the same image to make it look thicker, but after just a few the white picks up a dark gray edge and looks really bad, so I'm afraid this is as good as I can get them. There's two sizes - 2 tiles wide and one tile wide. They are set to glow, and are placed on the tile edge. Afraid I can't do anything about supports and I didn't see your image with the Studios part moved until after these were made.

My request my already be completed and I may not have been able to find it but I think it would be easy to pull off.

Aceana has release MANY pavement sets and I believe I have them all. Under the Trees and Shrubs is where one of his sets is located that has my favorite asphalt. However, that asphalt set to all black does not match any of his other asphalt in the other categories in either the texture or the shade of the black.

The problem with this piece of asphalt however is that it always conforms to the land. I cannot create a bridge over water with this piece of asphalt which I would like to do because it keeps conforming to the terrain and going under water. I tried using terrain blocks and still had no luck. I also tried building a path and then placing the pieces but they still conformed to the actual terrain. My question is can anybody replicate the exact piece of asphalt but with the ability to set the elevation at which the piece is set.

I will upload the different pieces of asphalt found in his packs in a minute as well as the piece I'd like replicated.

Tile number 3 is the asphalt I find the best and it is also the piece that conforms to the ground. If anybody needs a link to where I got the pack from or wants me to zip mine and upload it so they can work with it let me know please. I'd really appreciate a non-conforming version of this tile.

In 3ds max the easiest way to get a texture and color like that would to use a Mix Map, with a red and a white color. Then find a good diagonal stripe jpeg and use that bit map as your mask(mix) then you can fix everything with UVW maps and sizing the texture. Also dunno what font they are using if someone knows any close ones i can fix them

Really greatful for your help but I'm going to give up on the custom logo object side of things for my park as I am a perfectionist and it is hard for me to get across to one of your guys what I want; and I cannot create the object myself...Its just too hard!

Hands down to you lot who can...but I will just stick with custom billboards! Haha

Hey Goonies I was trying to recreate the haunted mansion too, for that part I just used normal paths/ stairs and some stairs from Vodhin's City Of Oz. Then just add some green lights around it. I don't think cs is really needed.
