I would mainly be looking for the likes of objects such as piles of lobster pots, stacked fishing nets, marker buoys, a fishing boat (a big request one I know), beached and rustic looking boats etc.

Now my request (or question actually):
Is there any other possibility than the official commercial poster function to integrate bmps or jpgs into the park?
Has someone yet worked on a custom scenery that can be assigned to pictures? I'd like to integrate selfmade logos, park maps, signs everywhere, at the entrance, the ride entrances, anywhere... if possible even the park logo on the flume ride boats fronts!
BTW I tried to get me the scenery editor myself, but the link doesn't work for me - or is there a new link maybe?

You could use billboards for the logos, but, on the front of flume ride boats, dont think possible...

Okay, I thought I posted this yesterday already but apparently it didn't work.
So... I have made a small brainstorming and want to share my ideas with you guys who maybe have more time and 3D-skills as I have.
I don't know if some things were requested or even created already, but anyway...

first of all I'd like to encourage the creators to do more diagonal walls and stuff :)

So...here's my small list:

Themes:

- Mexico
- Maya theme and so on
- India
- Myanmar (some round pagodes and stuff like this (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bild:Burma11.jpg) this (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bild:Burma15.jpg) or this (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bild:Burma02.jpg))
- Vikings / northern middle ages (with ships, ornamentals, helmets, runestones and walls for stave churches...)
- China of course - I already read about a promising ongoing project here :)
- Northern sea style harbour (with fish nets, fishes, anchors, ships, and so on)

Certain objects:

- Gobelins / wall carpets (maybe able to assign jpgs to?)
- a Brezel sign for the alpine village ;)
- readymade halls for easy ride-integration, with different shapes, sizes and textures like rocks, scifi-stuff, marble, and so on

so.. that's it for now.. maybe some of you get inspiration from that list :)

Dang! That's about 6 months of work, even from myself... I love the style of that movie and that of Betlejuice. I have been thinking of making stuff similar to it, but it just doesn't match everything else and looks wrong. It's still on my own wish list, so if I figure out a way, I'll let you know :D

A billboard that lays flat on the ground. It covers up a 1x1 square tile thing, and doesn't have a border/frame around it. I'd also be cool if it was double sided.

To be put it bluntly... no we aren't. I do look through this topic, finding the good simple suggestions and make plans to add them in. But models that will take hours of work to get right simply won't be done by me unless they're in my own plans for a park/ride.

Essentially, if you keep your ideas simple, and make them relatively easy models, you have a far higher chance of them being made.

Makes me wonder why no one has thought of this until now but about a ‘scenery killer.’ Basically, a perfectly transparent shape (be it cube, triangle, whatever) like Pumper’s support killer that has or gives a transparent affect to everything with-in the shape (again, be it cube, triangle, whatever).

Example: Take a rock from the Leftoverz’ pack, place a scenery killer in the middle of the rock and wall-la. Now you have room for peanut butter and jelly! :D

That's odd, because I use lulujarre's Sleeping Beauty castle all the time...

I think a lot of things you are looking for can be found in "hotroddude's Park Xtraz" pack. There is a security camera in that pack, and there's station and brake wheels in there, too.

By the way (though I might as well be talking to wall), I was wondering if anyone had re-created "parade" floats, specifically from Disney's SpectroMagic light parade. If not, I might set out to work on making a set of my own...

If you just need falling snow without the machine, check out hotroddudes pack. It contains a snow particle effect.

You can build a snowing machine with different themes. Take the canone from the adventure set and build with custom scenery (maybe Stuk71's Hangar Pieces) a small building around. Use your imagination and you can build nearly anything with the released custom scenery objects.

Custom scenery never looks good when its huge. Look at the disney castle for example. Its just too hard to make.

I think the reason why is because most people here are suggesting items which only they will ever really need. Looking at the last several requests, I see dragon's, huge towers and other stuff which would be very rarely used.

CS makers prefer to make sets which everyone will benefit from. Only very few make objects for individual people. Obviously you have yesmydear making CS for birou's Titanic ride,but other than that nobody ever gets objects they want making.

The best thing to do is to learn how to make it yourself. It's hard though and requires a lot of patience, so you may just be better off making something which doesn't need specific scenery.

Or, if you have a suggestion for a useful set for somebody to make that many people will use, make a new thread about it in the Custom Scenery forum. More people will see it then ;).

I am currently trying to build a tomarrowland and I am using the colored walls but while there are rounded wall pieces there is only one choice and it is for a 90 deg turn on one tile piece.

Could someone make various rounded pieces of different types (ie: colored wall, glass wall, etc.). to create various size rounded buildings if need be.

As someone has already said, nobody answers to these requests because they are mostly for things that only the person who requested them will ever need. Since this is what so many of these requests are for in this thread, most CS makers probabaly don't even bother to look at this thread anymore.

I don't think this was ever meant to be some 'official' list where CS makers were taking orders...I thought it was more like a central spot to post ideas for new CS instead of having dozens and dozens of request threads clogging up this forum. I know several CS designers have mentioned they look through the list, but they'll make whatever they feel like making, on this list or not.

Okay, I'm looking for additions to the Dutch Colonial scenery. Recolorable if possible, but the standard gray with the dark blue roof is okay too. Basically I'm looking for its stucco texture on a plain wall - Shy's Main Street sets are close, but not quite, and the Alpine set doesn't have enough variation in the texture to match. I just tried mixing and matching them to no avail. :cry:

The wall in the standard Wild set also has an obnoxious lip on the bottom that I would like to have removed as well so you can stack them without having lines across your building.

I'm using this to fake a Spanish style of building - the wall top and roof pieces have those nice curves to them - but if anyone would want to tackle a full-blown Spanish architecture project, I would be more than happy to hunt down examples and such.

Have you not noticed my friend? Custom scenery is something that takes time; a lot of time. I suggest downloading Blender or Milkshape because then you will see what I'm talking about.

If you'll read the entire thread, you'll see how many times someone posts that they are actually going to make someone's specific request, especially something thats specificly meant for only one park...yours.

Somehow I don't think asking a dozen times over the space of a week is going to increase your chances, especially since if you took the time to update your game you'd have billboards and wouldn't need someone to make anything...

A gift shop set. racks of shirts and hats and shelves with decorations, little toys for little kids in like crates or something. It would also be cool to have some of the shirts or hats on the racks to be custom billboards. I think that this could be a good set since lots of people have shopping areas in their parks. These two sets (mirrors and Gift shop) were going to be my first sets because I was going to try to start making my own cs but I failed miserabaly at it so now I am giving my ideas to others to do instead since I won't be doing it. I am still keeping my two favorite set ideas until I am 100% possitive that i won't ever be a cs creator. hope someone will attempt this set.

For the people who have posted requests like these, don't take it to heart, it just a laugh, but also to those people, please just look through the cs threads/importer threads etc, and just have a go at creating and importing a plain wall piece, just so you can see how difficult, well not so much difficult, but time consuming it is, have some idea of poly counts etc, and you will realise that what some of you propose to have made, would make rct3 run like a bike with the brakes on. If we knew everything about creating and importing in rct3, things might be different, but we don't, but with the work done by jonwil, Belgabor and cook, we get closer everyday, And there are some great cs creators out there, giving their free time to create additional scenery for the game. there is enough cs out there to represent almost anything you would find at a real theme park, Represent, thats the key word, you can't create an exact copy of a theme park, and you never will, not with rct3 anyway. what you are aiming for is a representation of the Park. If we made every piece Of a theme park, it would take you months just to find the piece you want to place. Make do with whats available. I'm not saying Don't make requests, Requesting is important, it gives scenery makers idea's, so keep it up, just do a little research or thread searching before you request.
If you show that you have at least tried, and by that I don't mean a 2 minute scan through the threads, I'm sure people will be more willing to help.

i cud deffinetly use a race theming set suh as race cars,lights, finish line,pits, etc

I don't think that anybody else has done this racing
set before

Although Hotrodude has made some racing themed lights
like the ones on Rita and Xilarator (Spelling?!)

So you wont need to make anything similar to these

Ah my request is the weirdest probably. How about new ride cart styles for the monorail and railroads. Like disney monorails and Gas powers trains. I mean come on if we are going to have those lets have more variety of what type of ride cars we have for those.

also i would like to request info on how to add modles from other games

I have an idea ok i dont know if anyone here knows about Paramount Canada's Wonderland located in Canada, Ontario, Vaughn (just out side Toronto) well they have this ride called Italian Job Stunt Track its themed after the movie ITALIAN JOB. 2 the point > the roller coaster goes throught these buildings made of metal like what you would see in factories here are some pics >>>>>>>>>
