Hey guys,

Kinda new here so correct me if I'm at the wrong place for this ;)
Since a while I've been trying to create a themepark inspired by the disneyland parks.

I'm currently busy with the hotel which is inspired by the Disneyland Hotel in Paris. Though progress is going slow the main design for the hotel is done and ready, but I'm really missing something. Now I've tried all CS I got but I could'nt get it done the way I wanted.

What I'm looking for is this:

In both pictures you can see the ground level base of the hotel. I would guess its some sort of sandstone. However I really like the design of it and I think many other people would love to have it as well :)

As for the numbers I placed on the pics:
1. Its basically points out the arch where people enter the hallways beneath the hotel.
2. Its a round shaped awning. I've tried Shyguys awnings of the main street set, but they looked odd somehow (nothing personal btw ;)). I would really love to see those as well :)
3. Is a picture where both the small and large arches are seen. perhaps an idea to make the small arch 1 tile and the big one 3 tiles?

Perhaps its also nice if those windows (if those are windows; under the awnings) are made...but normal and diagonal

Anyway...I hope that someone is creative and willing enough to make these objects as they would be very cool and sweet to use!

Is there anyone out there that could create mining structures, etc... I'm working on recreating Dollywood and I'm building Mystery Mines even though none of the rollercoasters in this game resemble the one in Dollywood other than the Vertical Steel coaster but it doesn't have a chain lift thats 90 degrees vertical as to where you have drops that are vertical, but it works for now unless they come up with something in the future that resembles that coaster plus I wish it had a barrel roll and corkscrew. But if there is anyone good with creating structures/props etc. for the game I wish someone could create a old mine theme. Have drills, crates of coal, coal carts, mine equipment, ladders and other mine objects. If there is anyone out there that could create a mine theme you would totally rock my socks!!! Plus I know we got western theme but I just don't like the way the western theme looks for my Mystery Mines replica, I hope I'm not being difficult, I just live like 2 hours from Dollywood and my Tennessee Tornado and Daredevil Falls look good, I would just like to see some old mine structures and objects.

There's already a pirate shop that looks a lot like that one, and Funky Flights can easily be made combining stuff from different set's already out there (Top Gun combined with Caribbean/Jungle theme). The final picture is harder, however you could still use something like the in-game curved hydroponic walls. The propeller blades would be a little harder, but could still be done using stuff already out there.

Okay, I know this is aking a lot, but would someone be able to make those gates that line up with the rows of cars on a rollercoaster. They could be a ride event so they open when the train pulls into the station. ^Ride events aren't possible for us normal people that would have time to make that. The_Cook is the only one so far that has released a set with ride events. He's busy with other stuff.

Not if you use a custom billboard that doesn't have a frame. There's several already released. Then figure out how many billboards it will take to make the wall you want (say for instance it takes six of them), then take your image and divide it up by that many pieces. A little math and you'll know exactly what size to crop it. I've done this many times. It also looks better when made up of multiple parts because the resolution can be higher, so the image looks better.

If you insist on using a large billboard, then look on the CS list for coasterfreak's Drive-In Movies set, it's already released.

I think you should have instead of a diaganol fence, i think you should have some angles ones, like in different degreess. Check picture.

Want to make a cemetary horror coaster, can someone create real scary cs such as, like, cutaway, maybe rotted looking caskets with varying decomposed bodies. Also loose decomposed bodies that have a lifeless movement much like it a body looks like floating under water, missing limbs and, ok, I imagine this is pushing it, an animatronic scare, say, skeleton where maybe the eyes just pop out.

If possible, also more varying, genuine looking, tombstones, some crooked ones and a full size masoleum (for holding many). I might make the coaster fly through that too.

Ok, I know that there is already there is stuff like this already but its limited in either the quality of its look or the ability to place it, say underground or in a wall.

Also, please consider the following things.. want to be able to see it underground, in a wall in like, say, a masoleum or if possible, underwater but please allow it to be placed as close to the coaster as possible. Maybe when it goes underground, a casket may be leaning right near the track. I might make it so that some of the cemetary is underwater.

Also, horror looking lamps ie: gargoyle lamps as well as mixed scary flame lamps as well.

Well, I'm a big fan of ac/dc and if you're an ac/dc fan aswell and you can make rct3 custom scenery, what if there was ac/dc scenery? You know, like a small angus statue (about as tall as a loud speaker in the game) , the bell that's used when they perform "hells bells" that has Ac/dc on it, or a robot-angus that's as big as an adult peep, etc. Just wondering if any of you think this is a good idea, as ac/dc fans that have made rides like "highway to hell-the ride" or "the razor's edge-the ride" or "ac-dc-the ride" etc. would LOVE this! :)

Since all of those except maybe one are pretty close to being square or rectangles, I'd think it would be a lot easier to use billboards. You could even use the images you posted on them after they have their perspectives corrected and are cropped.

The problem with custom scenery is that if it's things that can be made using what's already out there (like billboards), or it's something that not too many people will use, it most likely won't get made. Maybe someone will, but you can also do these yourself with billboards I think.

I thought someone had made a christmas tree, but I don't recall the set. But I did remember that Vodin has some traffic lights that look almost exactly like the Christmas tree in the photo. Maybe if you tried stacking those and then adding a billboard it might turn out really nice. Take a look at his set and see if that will work, it's listed on the List of Custom Scenery that's stickied just below this thread. Might scan through that list, the other christmas tree might be in a obvious set on there too. Good luck.

actually, whatever that set was worked pretty well, and looked like they actually were lighting when you put a light in front of the lights. they do have a day-time light up tendency when their at just the right angle with the "sun"

you can use'm with lazers too, edit the base direction and use two beams at whatever angle works for one best.then put a ceiling on top and turn on the last tick in custom quality settings.

Regular and slanted fences would be great, and you'd only have to do them in black.

Take a look on the List of Custom Scenery and look for the Asian Lamp by PhiWie, it might work for what you want.

i'm just amazed that no one has really did anything -besides walls- of a really good asian themeing. roofs more then anything else will make the feel right, as there is bound to be walls for already existing in the game to properly simulate an Asian house.

Yes, I remade the enterprise fences and Baz6174 is importing them now. If it's okay with you Westcot, we will include them in the Alton Towers Community Park CS Set 1.

OK I think I get what your saying, you want a complete cover to put over the bins yes? I'll try to make as many different designs as possible, but I can't do the recolorable thing. So instead I'll make about 5 colors of each design if that's alright with you?

Has anyone made a terrain wall yet?
I got LittleMac's terrain set, and looked at a few others, and while there seems to be a lot of little blocks, no walls. :bored:
A thin wall that blends in with the terrain edges would be very useful for filling in the gaping holes that RCT3 likes to carve into the cliffsides when there is a coaster running through on the next tile.

I've started working on my own Custom Scenery but so far I'm not having much luck. I'm tryign to use SketchUp but my idea's just aren't coming together.

Anywho I have a few requests for those out there who are a bit better at it than I.

First I need some old classic cars, from the 50's era. Somethign like ZZ-Top's Eliminator roadster, a 49 Mercury, a classic 57 Chevy Convertible... I think these would be great additions to the theming community because look at parks like Knoots Berry Farm with the X-Celerator coaster, I'm very sure it has an old classic car out front of the station. Also doesn't the COaster's Drive-in at Cedar Fair also have those. It would be good for recreations etc. I know I could sure use it for my Hard Rock Park right now.

My second Request is for a Neat Electric Guitar. And Yes I know theres one already in Lulujarre's set.. but it's sitting at an angle.. I need somethign straight up in the air to fit inside a coaster's Helix or on signage. I think I need it about 2 Squares wide from side to side.

Would anyone like to try their hands at these for my park? I'm sure they'd be useful to others as well. I'm currently working on an old classic gas pump.

If anyone would like to PM to offer tips or help on learning how to make CS I More than welcome it.

If you actually searched around in the forum for tutorials you can learn to do that yourself. That's how I learned. Im not very skilled but atleast I know how to do 3D models, how to apply textures to them and the basics of the Scenery Importer.

Thanks for the response, but the set I downloaded with Monstro in it continues to give me the dreaded "No SVD: SID" error. I've tried numerous times and it appears to be contained to the Disney Objects set. If anyone knows of a more current updated version or is still willing to make it, I would be grateful.

hello, i'm sure this has been requested before, but i really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, need this custom scenery, and i'm sure for many like me who like to make mine rides, this would be a tremendous help. It was requested here a little while ago, some fences for the X-Sector from Alton Towers, me and Baz have worked hard on these and they are finally ingame!

Please note that they were modelled by me and Mr Baz imported them (Which were a pain in the arse to import I am told!!)

I have a simple yet hopefully doable request. So read on if you feel like helping me out on a new park!

Anyway, what I am trying to make here is a GIANT modern pyramid. I have no specific textures for it so its mostly up to you and what looks right. For right now I only need three pieces. One of them is a square column that will have one letter on it. The column will also have an area of about 4 of the ingame squares and will be about 8 clicks high. The letter will be explained later.
For the next two pieces, I would like to have slanted triangle pieces, like in JCat's Spaceworx set. Except I need these to have a thick and outlined border. I also need them to be about 8 sqaures long and however high enough that will equal all the sides. The texture should be sort of glossy like the one JCat used if possible. Now I need one of these pieces to also be inverted just like JCat did.

I assume you mean in "CS list.xls" It's in "Custom Scenery Organizer.xls" under the tab "Scenery-Walls, Roofs etc." , but it's not in "CS list.xls"

First of all, let's get things straight: there is a pinned thread in this forum titled "New new complete list of custom scenery". Through this thread you will get to the Complete List of Custom Scenery. In that list, under penma (the creator), you will find one set listed: Extended Atlantis Walls v3. Next to it are two links, the second of which is the download link (this one: http://www.rct-net.de/cso-database.php?id=71&lang=0). In that page, press "Download" and it will take you to a page with two links; both of them work.

Secondly, the latest version of Custom Scenery Organiser (which does not contain links, by the way; that's the complete list's job), contains only one .xls file, which is titled "Custom Scenery Organiser.xls". The "CS list.xls" file you refer to may be from an older version of CSOr, in which case you should delete it and get the last one (which will be updated hopefully today, together with the complete list of CS).

The Complete List of Custom scenery and the Custom Scenery Organiser are two different things, which, however, complement each other.

That's strange, because the link in the first post does point to the latest version. There are two links: from the Complete list's server (http://www.rct-theme-world.de/downloads/Custom%20Scenery%20Organiser.zip) and from Rapidshare (http://rapidshare.com/files/59349066/Custom_Scenery_Organiser.zip). You may want to redownload it; the latest version contains two more columns next to each entry, saying which set each entry comes from. Anyway, I will upload the latest version later tonight, and, hopefully, there will be a more permanent host for CSOr, so you may want to wait for that. In the future, CSOr will have a guide, explaining how everything works. But, to answer your question, the "Atlantis Extras" comes from Atlantis Vaulting v1.1 by The_Cook, so I guess you have that already.

Ahhh, ok, so I already have them. :( Was hoping there was more out there for Atlantis.

Yes, I do love how this was put together. Looking for a specific theme. Just filter by the theme and there ya go. Helped me find the others I was looking for. Was just confused why I couldn't find Extras, now I know. :)
