I like 'em! My suggestion... make the letter independently colored from the support. Right now, I see the letter and the support both white, and I'm assuming that's just because this is a first run. I'd like the option of, let's say -- having a white letter with a black support, or whatever the user chooses. I love having all this custom scenery available, but it's even better when the end user still has a little customaziation (ie: color) to make it work in their particular park.

This was something I had considered trying to make for a park I had started. I wanted a hollywood style sign and Caffinated's letters, as much as I love em, really don't work for this type of sign.

So cool, great timing for me :)

i have improve the support stuture and look much better just almost like real life from hollywood sign.
now i need improve the wood texture, then import all the left over.

Well what I had in mind when I started considering trying my hand at custom objects was to just make them white but I thought that I and others would use colors if they were colorable as well.

As Pumper has pointed out the downside is that white tends to be gray when you make them colorable. But I think it would be worth a try. Worst case scenario as I was thinking about this is that they could be made both ways as separate scenery choices if you couldn’t make them white enough after making a colorable version.

You can get a virus for something like this... You should make sure there arent any viruses on the file if you have Norton AntiVirus because if you have a dormant virus thats on that file youll have a bunch of angry people who downloaded it...

I suggest you go to the Norton or McAfee etc sites and start reading about what a virus is and how it works. Knowledge is much better protection than depending on some software to do it for you.

I was disappoint than I can't use PNG icons because I never got work on jonwil's v9.1 importer, so I have to use the old version and it is BMP icon which you will see funny icons with white background but better than nothing tho!

Don't worry, when Jonwil will release his next new version. Hopeful if it is working on my objects, then I will remake to improve bit for next Hollywood Sign version with better looking icons.

One question... will that support ever be re-released as recolorable? That support could be used in a hundred other ways.

I second that!!

One problem, which is now fixed, the first time I tried to use them, it all froze!! I fixed it by moving the folder so the .ovl files were shown in the first folder, not second. I didnt know how big they were!

Now you can recolourable everything you like, even wood supports too...

I have improved little bit on wooden texture for support which old one is not a pattern that not useful for tiles texture...

Okay, I downloaded them and I tried to put them in my park but it just freezes up the whole game and a small window pops up and says "no sid" or something like that.

Please help!

I had that, make sure that you have the right folder order, go to the theme folder and when you click on the pack, if it comes up as just 1 folder, you have done it wrong, when you 1st click on it, make sure that the folder and 2 .ovls things come up. That was how I fixed my problem, which is the same as yours.
