How Do I Improve Stupid Local Authority Rating

the idea of LOCAL AUTHORITY RATING is a stupid one, if there are 3 or more companys in the city then the rating never improves, and small things make it go down, i had to remove some roads to build a new bigger airport after a tore down my old one, i accidentaly demolished buildings trying to righ click on the roads, and when i tried to place the airport the rating was 47% and after 10 minutes it is still 47%, no matter what i do, is there a way to increase the rating, please respond now!! its problems and glitches like these that make people that enjoy games like this to stop playing, and they will tell friends not to buy it.

never mind, i planted trees and it worked and i built the airport, now my competitors rail lines are in the way of where i whant to demolish a small airport for a medium one, how do i remove them without building competing lines.

I don't think you can - but it'd be cool if you could buy out other people's train lines - or at least buy the ability to use them. Like licensing or other things. I'm sure Chris thought of that and saw some flaw in programming that - but it would be cool.

Plant lots of trees. Most trees add half % to the town rating. Not the cactus though. The increase is to the town they are nearest to..not to all towns on the map.
