The link is on Page 5, Post #135. That's the most current one.

All of us are in the same boat, trying to wait patiently for this. Unfortunately, Max hasn't even been to these forums for nearly 3 weeks, so I hope everything is ok with him.

But his last post indicated that he was working some stuff out, so hopefully before too long we'll see him again. If he's decided to drop it, I'd hope he'd either just release what he's got or pass it off to someone who can finish it.

Hopefully we'll be basking in the glow sometime soon.:)

First off guys let me apologise for not being around for a while, my personal life has somewhat taken over at the moment, and I hav'nt worked on my custom scenery for a while.
thanks to everyone who voted for me in the jonwil awards.
I'll put the latest version of max dc on the sebar/max site for you to download if you wish but it still is nowhere near complete, hopefully I will get some spare time soon and carry on, but I just cant spare the time at the moment.
Looks like I have a lot of catching up to do, as i see drp has worked out the custom lighting, well done mate.
check the sebar/max site in a day or so and the latest maxdc should be up.
Thanx guys keep up the good work.

How long do you need for the rest of the set isn't so important to me. Most important for me is to see, that you back. The real life should be always #1 for anyone. Hope that you find some spare time anytime.

Max your site remains opened and alive and kicking. Glad to hear from you as I emailed and PM'd you a while back but thought something might have happened to ya. Just glad ur back with us.

Lots happening in the community these day, probably bad for the short term but I think in the long term RCT3 will be back and kicking, just not sure if will remain with Atari or not, or if there will be an Atari or not...

Anyhow, looking forward to seeing your set completed. Will make RCT3 even more awesome. Thanks to your hard work and that of my many other friends here, this platform continues to rock dude!

Just for your information ... the set is available for download on Sebar's site (click on Max DC Resurection under the picture with the castle for the "whole" set). Just downloaded a few seconds ago. THANKS MAX!!!!

Thanx for all the kind words guys.
I hope to get my teeth back into custom scenery soon.
you're right real life is more important, but sometimes its not as much fun lol
thanx for keeping the site going sebar, its much appreciated.
And although I don't agree with some of atari's decisions, I hope they sort out their problems and carry on supporting their loyal customer base, coz bugs or no bugs they still have some of the best games on the market like RCT and AOW to name but a few, but to keep people interested you have to give them what they want, and the big thing in PC games at the moment is modding, it has been for some time, and if you fail to change with the times, you get left behind.
It would be a shame to see Atari dissappear, after all they've been with us from the birth of home computers.

The only problem is, that when I started the game, there was an error message. Sorry I don't know the exact details, but, I got the same message with my piece of custom scenery (the cube! lol) and next time I started the game, it wouldn't load! I had to delete the scenery from my style/themed folder.

The message appears on the first loading screen.

I get the message too... it's some kind of error, but it's not the "no .svd for .sid" thing. It's something much more specific. I'll see exactly what it says if Max wants to see it. But if you hit "Yes" to debug, the game continues to start up and works just fine, and so do the packs, at least for me.

But Max has enough on his plate right now... if hitting "Yes" will get you through it, I say that it's best to deal with it for right now.:)

Would be really nice, if you (or someone else) can fix the problem.

EDIT: I have seen on my screenshot, that the error came from the Walls and i have tested it again. It's just the folder with the walls, the other folders work with RCT3/Wild! ... so if you delete the folder Max DC Walls you can work with the rest of the set ... and it looks like that MaxInfinty has saved the wallset in a wrong way, when you read Themed\Max DC Walls\Style ... normally it must be like Style\Themed\Max DC Walls\. Maybe this could fixed easy ...

You just need to click "ok in order to continue. It works just fine whenever I do that. The pictures on the object indicators will be blank for the walls scenery. Maxinfinity, I really need the top spire and upper castle walls when you get the chance! I hope everything is going fine in your life!!

Yes, if you just click OK, then it loads fine....just the wall set icon is missing...no biggie.....OK, Max, you are AMAZING!!!!!! I have just started the castle to my Royaume des Reves park, and it will be stunning because of you.

I can't believe you don't think the pack is finished.....it is simply stellar as is.

I'll post pics of your amazing scenery posing as a castle in a few days.

sorry guys the take the folders out of the themed folder and place each folder in your style/themed dir individually do not use the themed folder in my zip file, thats just the way i zipped it.

if you still get the overlay error, it maybe because i was experimenting with shared textures.
it works fine on mine so i think its just the folder confusion.

unzip it you should be left with themed/walls , themed/balconys etc etc copy these individual folders to you rct3/style/themed dir and all should be ok.

Sorry to resurect this old thread but i was wandering how it is going, im really needing those roofs about now and wandering how far along you are, the other stuff is near perfect. I remember when you had the roofs availalble in i think v.3 download and was wandering if i could just get that download again if i have to. Any way love your work....dont give up man!:up:

I just download this set from his mirror site and when I go to load up my game it freezes at 60% and then comes up with an era. I went I cheeked my folders they were structured right and the only time I have gotten this era before is when I made mistakes in making my own scenery. So is this set just imposable to use or is there a way around it. Any help would be appreciated.

I knew it wouldn’t work so I changed that when I installed the set. I will see maybe I can figure out which of the five sets is causing the problem. Usually that error appears when something in the sid information is wrong I really hope max pops in cause I would like to know if he still intends on finishing this set. Also if it is just the sid error that is very easy to fix.

Just click the space bar when it stops and the set will continue to load. It should work fine.

Um... Max, why do I not see the textures for most of the pieces? This is a great set, but I don't like to guess at what I'm clicking on. Please fix.
