I think some of the secret cars to be found around the city should be prototypes, so there could be cars from 1980-1982 in the game. The secret cars should be found inside of buildings or showrooms.

maybe there could be a random area fenced off with mesh and concrete, and you would have to find a secret button hidden in the trees to open a front gate. inside the fenced off area there will be just grass and a passage underground. after driving around a labyrinth of gray hallways, you will come to a small room with a pink mini cooper on a lift.

i thought you were talking about that, i wasn't sure... that base was kinda eerie. i remember finding it, and for a while i couldnt find the button people were talking about. i expected to go inside and see all these buildings and stuff. but no, just a lawn with a random ramp going underground, and some very interesting abandoned tunnels. have you ever seen that huge blue safe thing? weird... :weird:

I think we should change the picuters into links becuase this tread is very hard on my dial-up:( . So it take about 20-30mins to load up.

It isn't too hard on my dial-up, it loads completely in about 30 seconds. The starter of the thread, Canadian Dude, should just put "Warning to Dial-Up Users" or something like that in the title.

D4 should have a marker like GTASA where you just point to the place you want to go and set a marker. In D4 you could do that and get in a taxi or bus (or possibly when you hold a driver hostage) and the driver would automatically go there. :D

when you drive a taxi in D4, i want to be able to pickup and dropoff them with no time limit, like in GTA2 u make 5 bucks every 3 seconds, becuase i like to follow the rules, then break them:p

First of all this isn't on-topic and second of all I think that the game should have sports cars, trucks, and vans of the 50s, 60s, and 70s. That would be cool. Also there should be the old kinds of cars like ones that were of the 1930s. As with the taxi missions there shouldn't be any time limit and the longer distance you need to drive a person, the more money that they have to pay you. The amount of money they pay you should be a realistic amount too cuz I don't want to see someone give you 1,000 bucks. That wouldn't seem real at all.

No. If it's a car then it isn't off-topic i mean this topic is called The Un-official Next Cars Topic so it's about the next cars and besides it doesn't matter to me if they include planes or even trains because that won't be part of the story so why should they be driveable. It would just be a waste of time to do so unless they want them to be featured in the missions.

Speaking of cars, I just bought one yesterday. Its an 86 Camaro.

Thats all I remember, I haven't been able to drive it yet though, although it does run, I made sure of that. It needs a new radiator, it can be fixed, but might as well get a new one. It also needs a battery. The interior is crap, wires coming out of the seats even, lol.

The catch: $300

Hey, I can't complain, I finally have a car, hopefully I'll get it able to run back to my house soon. A new radiator is $100, battery, I don't know. I'll post pictures when I get a chance, but I don't have a camera, have to borrow a friends. Its a project car, hoping to fix it up nice.

As I said, it needs a lot of work. The guy I bought it from works at a storage place, so he knows a lot of good deals. As soon as I buy the radiator and battery I'll bring it back to the house and take some pics.

I though $300 was kinda cheap for a camaro too, hopefully its worth it. Its the same amount my parents spent on the PS2 when they bought it, so I can't see why it wouldn't be worth it.

I need to register it and get plates, main thing I need right now is a radiator and battery, my friend works at Autozone, so I could get it at a fraction of the price. They (radiator) normally run about $140, supposedly he can get me it for $110, hey, its an improvement. I almost bought one on Ebay, but thats kind of sketchy. It also needs new wires, and a distributor cap, and the flange (?) thing that goes between the exhaust manifold and engine.

That sound nice. On of my friends just rebuilt an 69 chevelle from nothing and now is working on an 79 charemo.

Same guy I bought the Camaro from knows a guy selling a 69 (I think) Chevelle with a 327 in it for $2000. Apparently runs fine, looks nice, body needs some work, a few dents, not too shiny anymore.
