I liked the music in Driver 2 I hope they put something like that in. Or... even better! radio stations with 70's music. Like Elvis or something. What do you think it should be? maybye atari will take a look at this thread and will take some of our ideas into consideration.

Good news indeed. Lets hope the music is good. I wonder if they'll go with modern music again a la D3's licensed tracks, or with famous old songs.

Someone needs to check their dates. Elvis died in the 70's. He was prominent in the 50's. 70's was comprised of rock and disco. Think Led Zeppelin, The Who, Pink Floyd, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Queen, etc.

Too bad the chances of getting those bands to sign on is slim to none. Well, The Who might say yes, as you can hear their songs everywhere (CSI mainly). Well, Lynryd Skynryd however its spelled was on GTASA, so we might get a song from them, and Queen seems like it shouldn't be too hard. I know Led Zepplin is hard to get from watching School of Rock. But then again, their song Rock and Roll is on a Cadillac commercial, so who knows.

off topic, this song that cant be in this game cause of the year or time period, but i will love to see it in a future driver, Rolling Stones: Painted Black. That song is perfect in my opinion.

Who says they need to stick to the time period for music? They could have the rock station play old songs too. Plus, is it really a radio or is it just 40 licensed tracks in a cycle?

Thats good. Since theres only 40 songs, they shouldn't go crazy with the radio stations like GTA. A chat radio might be good, but Reflections doesn't have as good humor as GTA. The three stations I think should be:

Rock, mostly fast music
Blues, for all those just cruisin around town moments
Funk, for that old school Driver feel

Please, no gospel, country, 50's music or earlier. There are a few good songs from then, but not many, 60's and then on is where its at. Thank you Beatles!

Anyway, heres some songs I'd like (not all pre-1978 but who cares?):

Rock Station
*Eruption - Van Halen
*Achilles Last Stand - Led Zeppelin
*My Generation - The Who
*Wipeout - The Ventures
*My Brain is Hanging Upside Down - The Ramones
*Secret Agent Man - The Guess Who
*Frankenstein - The Edgar Winters Group (live version please!!!)
*Jessica - The Alman Brothers
*Magic Carpet Ride - Steppenwolf
*Anarchy in the UK - Sex Pistols
*Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen, for all those Waynes World moments
*Another Brick in the Wall - Pink Floyd (not the best of their songs, but most of their songs are slow, not suited for driving fast, who cares)
*Crazy Train - Ozzy Osbourne
*Communication Breakdown - Led Zeppelin
*Immigrant Song - Led Zeppelin
*The Ocean - Led Zeppelin
*Fire - Jimi Hendrix
*Crossroads - Cream
*Welcome to the Jungle - Guns n Roses
*Free Ride - Doobie Brothers
*25 or 6 to 4 - Chicago
*Woodstock - Crosby Stills Nash and Young
*Don't Look Back - Boston
*Iron Man - Black Sabbath
*Faries Wear Boots - Black Sabbath
*Paint it Black - Rolling Stones
*Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club - Beatles
*Back in the USSR - Beatles
*Thunderstruck - AC/DC
*Highway to Hell - AC/DC
*Back in Black - AC/DC

Yeah, I woulda added more but I don't have all day, lol.

That sounds good, and another song that seems it would go with D4 based on lyrics would be dirty deeds by ACDC
