What are you playing till DPL?

Ever since we got info on how you could race, upgrade, repair, and even paint your cars in Driver Parallel Lines I was dieing to get a racing game that offers these features just so I could pretend I am playing DPL. I did not want a game like Need For Speed Underground 2, Midnight Club 3, or Burnout 3. And I'm not saying I don't like those games but its not what I was in the mood for. Well I found the perfect game to pretend im playing a demo of Driver Parallel lines. Test Drive: Eve of Destruction offers all these things in fun and great ways. Although it has no online mode it has up to 4 players offline and upgrades are only for peformance on cars. The paint shop allows you to paint anyway you want on 6 different panals. I have this one car where all my freinds signed there nicknames on my hood. Plus it has tons of unlockables like better A.I., faster gameplay, boost, and even 10 videos of races. These videos are unlocked by gaining respect as a racer in career mode, and for the other unlockables you'll have to complete specific goals like finish a Jump Race with no damage. It features 25 different ways to compete and about 30 cars ranging from buses and muscles cars to postel vans and a hearse. Since its a Destruction Derby type game it has some nice damage and pileups like there's something called suicide race where 7 cars drive one direction and 7 other cars drive the opposite direction. Its real fun to escape pile ups by a little bit or even start pile ups. And the best thing is it's an ATARI game so I'm still loyal. I recently picked it up and recommend it but still give advise to do research if your intrested cause I don't want you to blame me for saying its good. So this thread is about what are you playing to calm down your hype for Driver Parellel Lines.

Since I don't have my PS2 here at college, I won't be playing many games between now and March, but I do have a computer.

Yes, for an N64 game anyways. It's nothing groundbreaking, but a good way to kill 30 minutes. Basically you fly around in a helicopter and kill stuff. Like I said, nothing groundbreaking. ;)

Hey Hack0r, I couldn't help but notice how in the screen of Driver 3 it says X-Box Live on the main menu. So does the X-Box version of Driver 3 have online multiplayer or something?

Q: Are there any differences between the different version of DRIV3R (PS2, Xbox, PC)?
A: XBox and PC versions will obvioulsy be a notch higher than PS2 in graphics. XBox version has on-line feature to share replays, and also allows for a customizable soundtrack. Not much is known about the PC version at this time.
