Hi there,
Please release a Demo of "The Matrix: Path of Neo". I was at the "Games Convention 2005" at Leipzig, Germany an I played there on a Playstation 2 the Game. It was demo. I just played the "Lobby" (with lots of guns...) and another Level. It lokked like a black/white chinese train programm. I fought with an Samurai Sword. And every level i just could play about 5 minutes... But this 5 minutes were the best 5 one on the G|C.
Why dont you release this "demo"? We know that the Game isnt finished but I (and I think many others) wanna have a taste of beeing THE ONE...
regards
Daniel alias Co1m-Co1tus

PS: Sorry for my pretty bad English

a demo to hype us up would be really appreciated, but since this is mostly a console game, like etm, it probably won't happen

After the fiasco that was Enter the Matrix, I'd definitely have to have played the demo before even considering purchasing this. Chances are, it looks cack on PC...

Usually making a demo takes a ton of time out of the development schedule, so companies usually don't like to do it.

The demo they had at E3 (which sounds like it was the same one they had in Europe) was really amazing though.

Would have been nice to play it a little more though. They *SHOULD* make a demo, if nothing else than for the reasons the guy above gave of convincing people this will be a big improvement over ETM. I'm sold on it anyway.

I rented ETM and it was not as good as I was hoping, but was a decent enough rental (Kinda as much a DVD as a game) I felt the major flaws were:
Repetative gameplay.
You could not be Neo. This Ghost guy... I mean he's cool and all, but it didnt' feel like he had anything to do with the movie.

Anyway, playing E3, and hearing the reviewers gush about this one is enough for me. This time I want to actually own a copy.

If they release the game without a prior demo and before most of the reviews have come out, you should know the score...

What I don't understand is why bring Path of Neo to PC when ETM on the PC barely a hit. The PC sales were terrible AFIAK.

This time around people will be more apprehensive but there'd still be a chance it'll be a top seller due to all the clueless customers out there (Me see The Matrix brand, ME BUY!).

I'm pretty sure that by now, nearly everyone knows that:

Book ----> Movie = Bad,

Movie ----> Game = Bad,

and that Uwe Boll ----> Anything = Travesty.

But I suppose I shouldn't underestimate the number of people who just flat out refuse to think.

It shouldn't be that hard to just take what they have used at the shows and make a demo out of it that will run on commercial PS2's. And I don't have a good gaming PC, so a PC only demo wouldn't do me any good.

But I'd love a PS2 demo where you can play the lobby scene and then the samurai level.

AND NO TIME LIMITS!!!! That's just super annoying in a demo. It's not like it's going to replace the full game even if I can play the demo levels as long as I want. The entertainment value of a demo is limited, no matter how long you can play it.
