Everyone praises Magnum, when personally, I didn't hate it, but I didn't like it. The restraints are very uncomfortable also.

XLR-8. It may not be fast, and many people don't like it, but it provides a wild ride in reverse as 8-RLX.(thats the name for it backward) Magnum is one of my fav coasters, but I still think XLR-8 is techincally the best Arrow.

You have to learn to ride it OB. I'm 6'0, 190 lbs and I can get a fantastic ride everytime. My trick is, sit in the absoulte back, hold up on the lapbar, and loosen the seatbelt. Excellent air, no pain, fantastic ride. Sittin in the front 3 trains has hurt me, but the back 3 doesn't. I guess you'll have to ride it again to find out :)

Magnum XL-200, which is currently my 4th favorite steel coaster overall.
Just curious... is there a reason no one ever thinks about Morgan Manufacturing in the coaster polls? They've got a few really good coasters out there, too, such as ValleyFair's Wild Thing and Dorney Park's Steel Force.

Well, it mighta been Drachen Fire for me, except I was too young to ride it when they shut it down...
but i'd have to say, since they both are different categories of ride, LNM and BBW @ BGW

Was Drachen Fire shut down to make roome for alpengeist? Or because it was having problems? If not then why?

This is what I got from rcdb.com-
"The Drachen Fire was shutdown in July 1998. Initial plans were to modify the roller coaster. It was then decided to sell the roller coaster. No buyer was found and the Drachen Fire was taken down so the steel can be recycled starting in the fall of 2001 completely removed by March of 2002."

the thing was that they made a mistake with the ground density measurements before they built it... this caused the ride to sink ever so slightly that the forces they had measured on the computer were off, and that people started to complain of whiplash. they closed it because they could not afford to have liability suits against them, but decided to sell it because it was a good ride, just built on a bad foundation... the modifications mentioned above were to take out certain elements they believed may have been the cause of the whiplash, but it was most likely determined to not redo the ride because they might still have settlement problems if it re-opened... though i have heard of a rumor that they might put a woodie into that section, it is probably not going to ever be confirmed because of the fact that the ground is still probably too soft for anything heavy to be put onto it... a more probable bet is that they are going to convert it into another country... hopefully a New Spain, as it would be the easiest to make and theme...

Most people said that it was waaaay too rough and that nobody would ride on it because they couldn't find it because it was waaaaay back in the park.
Atleast that's what i heard!
