Installed the Fahrenheit demo a few days back, and today I noticed a folder in My Documents called 'atari', and there were some game files in it.

Now these might be save games, or some other game bobbins. Either way, they belong in the documents and settings folder, not My Documents. If every game decides to have its files in there the 'My Documents' folder ceases being my documents at all...

It's already a giant mess what with GTA and CnC saved files. Atari, please dont join the long line of people who add this bullsh*t. Thanks.

Actually no, they belong right there.

Can you explain yourself? I've put up support for my side of the argument, but you can't?

I guess that answers the question, but not in the way you intended.

The intended spot for most [save]games is in the my documents folder. It's been that way since around 2000 with the release of Windows XP and Win2000, I believe Max Payne was the first game that did this in order to ensure compatability between user accounts, if there was an earlier game, I apologize but Max Payne was the first game I noticed with this. You can also easily access the files and move them from the my documents folder to another computer without having to do heavy digging through invisible folders if you were to put them in the documents and settings folder.

So my argument is from the past precidence.

Your argument is you just don't like it.
