On some websites I've seen Indigo Prophecy, other sites I've seen Fahrenheit...what is the difference between the 2 names if there is any?

On the whole, it's the same game.

The original name is Fahrenheit, and that's what it's called in Europe.

Atari didn't want to have the name Fahrenheit in the US (cause stupid people could think it had something to do with Fahrenheit 9/11 by Moore) so it got renamed to Indigo Prophecy in North America.

There are more changes in the game than just the name aswell. ESRB first gave the game a AO rating, which means it's pretty much impossible to sell, so the sex scenes in the game are slightly changed/censored in the north american release.

I never would've drawn that conclusion in a million years. That must make me some kind of genius.

Interestingly enough, I read an interview where I believe it was David Cage said that they wanted to change it to Indigo Prophecy everywhere, but it was too well known as Fahrenheit to do so.

So let me get that straight: slashing somebody is fine, but because there is nudity it gets censored ? Man, how I hate these American purists.
Anyone want to trade my Indigo Prophecy for Fahrenheit ?
Or provide me with the missing content ?

The missing content is pretty much boobies. No one can give you that. That's something you have to find for yourself.

..and yes, it is dumb that american laws ban any kind of nudity from video games, but allow as much violence as they can handle. It's also dumb how they allow anything on TV... has anyone ever watched showcase?

Jeepers.
