Taken from "Screamscape"

The guys over at RCPro did a great job today of searching through the official trademark / patent website and discovered what really can only be the new name of the B&M Flyer at Magic Mountain. Six Flags has filed for the name Tatsu, which means Dragon in Japanese, along with the tagline “Flying at the speed of Fear”. I have to say I’m impressed with such a unique name for this new ride, which also reflects upon the Japanese theme of the Samurai Summit area of the park and the nearby Ninja coaster. Now if they can pull off some high quality theming for this flying dragon coaster of theirs and some nice landscaping all around the queue, station and under the coaster itself, then I’ll really be impressed. Of course, after the parking lot theme used for of Scream a few years back, anything will be an improvement.

You know why I'm happy? It's not Superman: Ultimate Flight or The Flying Coaster

Why did no one compliment Kingda Ka, its name is totally origonal, or Raging Bull, or Nitro, or Iron Wolf. Six Flags can make good names when it feels like it :p

Yeah, it's just a name. Six Flags can't theme well enough to support it.

Oh well, at least it's an original name for once.

they can't theme...THEY CANT THEME?

Look at Kingda Ka and the Golden Kingdom. Its almost Disney Quality themeing. And although they have 5+ Batman Clones, all are themed very well in there own way, to look like Gotham City.

Don't say they can't theme.

They can theme when they want to...its just like the Names of there coasters.

Ur right, good thing they have a original name.Kingda Ka is a great ride. Nice theming, I'm just dissapointed thy took all of the queue theming to waste, with all the tree carvings and stuff, maybe it will come back next year.

Are you talking about how they don't use the Q anymore. Yeah, since the accident, NJ requires that there either be a shield or don't use the Q anymore. Thats why they don't use it. Over the winter they are going to build a shield for the Q so the line dosnt go out into the Midway of Golden Kingdom

Your_Name_Here, large emphisis on the word *Almost*

AND

Thats Indiana Jones, a DARK ride, of course its going to be well themed.

O, thanks. Seems like NJ is the toughest on amusement park laws. Seems like that ever since that guy died on Jack Rabbit in Clementon. Now ever since that, the state has very close watch on parks, and extremly close watch on Clementon. Security is beefed up, and they have a camera in the J2 Station where the state views whats happening in the station. Thats why it opned 3 months late, becuase the state wanted them to know how to run it well. Been to Clementon, it's a dump. Its like a carnival with a huge coaster.

Very large emphasis on almost. Six flags should have made it darker, more of a temple themed instead of what they have. In my opinion, they did a lousy job.

Oh, and have you ever seen this?

Not a dark ride, but excellently themed.

If you do the same thing with Great adventure, it appears their coaster will be named El Toro.;)
