Slams, Rams, and Traffic Jams (D:PL)

I was thinkin' in Driver: Paralel Lines, since there are 20-30 cars on screen, maybe there could be Huge-A$$ traffic jams (like in real life). Besides this would be awesome for photo taking and crashes... To bad there isn't Replay Mode http://instagiber.net/smiliesdotcom/contrib/edoom/sad2.gif

Car chases don't happen often in real NYC. I wonder why they chose that city for the setting... :weird:

New York just has those alleyways, Chicago ,hometown of Kanye West, is better for chases, but LA has more frequent chases in real life

Actually most native NYers don't drive. They know what a pain it is. They'll ride the subway or walk. It's generally outsiders, tourists, or people commuting from New Jersey who drive and clog up the streets.

Crashes in Burnout are crazy. You try to hit a car, and the car you hit hits other cars, and causes this huge pileup that has cars and debris scattered everywhere.

Pretty much. On Burnout, the brakes on pedestrian vehicles don't work good, the tires screech but they just keep going, which makes for 20-30 car pileups, very entertaining, play Crash mode.

Well before you get too upset, its true theres no replay mode, this was done because it takes up so much memory. Because they've dropped it, they can have higher resolution graphics, 3 times the ammount of traffic, and further draw distance.

I understand some people love the game for film director, but I didn't use it much. Plus I'm excited to hear theres more traffic cause I was dissapointed with D3's almost empty streets, there was no challenge to the driving at all, you could drive in a straight line down a road and probably get to the end with no problem. Hopefully this also means more cross traffic, to make intersections more on the edge of your seat.

yes, i want way more cross traffic. i loved when when a random taxi comes across an intersection and you smash it onto its roof. i hated that it only happened once in a blue moon.:down:

Yeah, plus I would sometimes get a heavy vehicle because I WANTED to hit cross traffic, and usually whenever it happens its before you get to the intersection, so you miss them anyway. Theres plenty of cross traffic on missions, I wonder why??? (they're scripted to do that, you can tell cause it happens the same way every time)
