some would say its a detail but for combat games it can make a great difference to help create a "pleasurable"experience.

will there be any possibility to customize the controls for the xbox version?

to me its a big deal, cause if the games good and the controls sucks i'll have a way to enjoy the game alot more.

if i cant modify the controls i"ll go for the PC version so i can have the configuration i want on my joystick.(if it will support joysticks)

anyone else shared this problem playing ETM?...every time i played i just wish i could change the controls...i would 've appreciated the game better i think.

I think that it would be a good idea for them to have a controller configuration menu on the console versions coz every gamer is different and for them to get the most enjoyment out of a game they need to feel comfortable with the controls.

I liked ETMs control config for the PS2 coz using my right index finger on the shoulder button to shoot just felt right, it felt natural coz that's the same movement that i'd use to pull the trigger of a gun, but not all gamers are the same. Sometimes games fall at the first hurdle with the controls. people talk about how realistic a game looks because of the improving graphics as time goes on, however, programmers need to take note that a game can look as realistic as it wants but if you can't work the damn thing then there's no point in you buying it.

Sometimes the controls feel like an added challenge that you need to get around, which i sometimes enjoy. However, the aim of this game is to get the feeling as if you are living and breathing in this game more than any other previous game because the whole idea behind the Matrix is that you're living inside that computer program, and if you are to get that feeling then the controls need to feel NATURAL FOR YOU. Too many times before i've played a game that's s'posed to be realistic and the the hardest part of it is gettin the main charcter to move around in the way that you want them to. If it actually was that hard for us to walk around in real life then i don't think any of us would get out of bed!!!.

Anyway i'm rambling now. All in all i think that it would be best if they had an in depth control configuration menu so that you can change what each button does (not just 3 set control configurations, 2 of which you would actually have to chop off your fingers and rearrange them to be able to control it, so that you're stuck with the first one), that way it may be possible for the programmers to improve the game for a lot of people.

it shoud'nt be to bad with 2 shoulder buttons(2 left-2 right, like the PS2)luckly for you.sadly the S-controller for XBOX only has 1 shoulder button and has a white and black button akwardly placed ,i'm not complaining its just a combination of factors that made the controls problematic for me.

soon will come the X360 controller, looks smashingly designed.and a usb version that you can plug in your PC ... thank you lord!!!lol
