modifing rides in DP

i think it's going to be cool to upgrade eniges and put bigger one's in the cars. and stuff i think it will help DP get the driver fans back.

btw, in D3 the cars feel like their shocks are so hard, the front berely goes up when accelerating, car drifts in turns like in NFS Underground,wierd:rolleyes:

D3 sometimes felt like driving on ice, especially the Cobra in Miami. I really hated that. D1s handling was the best, although the other physics have drastically improved. Now hitting a flipped car doesn't make you or the flipped car fly hundreds of feet into the air, lol, even though I liked that glitch

ahh yes, how fun that glitch was. i remember getting d1 for christmas years ago, and when my cousins and i discovered this glitch on the 2nd day i had it, all we did was try to ram cars on there sides so we could do it. of course, it only happened once in a blue moon on d1 so we ended up getting frustrated and forgot about it.

i also remember those small bridges in miami shaped like a hump (went from the suburbs to the hotels). i used to hit those as fast as i could and ramp the street light over and over.

I used the gameshark nitro code and ramped those bridges and always went through the walls. The walls were very easy to go through in D1, I'd drive out into the ocean all the time, lol. The good ol days. I'd love for D4 to have a cheat or something that makes it glitchy like Driver 1. It was so fun when your car would somehow get hundreds of feet of air.

I even did it in Stuntman, on the last movie you have to jump a swimming pool (I feel like a geek cause I have a theory on why it happened, I saved the replay too), and I hit the tall diving board tower, my car fell halfway on and into the pool, and actually accelerated into the air, it looks so weird, cause it stops on the ground and bounces up slowly, then it takes off and flies over the bay. My theory on how it happened is that when you drive into water on the game your car floats right back to the top, well since it didn't go into any water barely, the buoyant force equations still came into play, and since the ground stopped it, it started floating out of the water it should have been deep into. Anyway, whatever, it was funny thats all.

Sidepipe exhaust, like on the Shelby Cobra, that HUGE pipe going down the side and dumping right before the back tire. I would LOVE to have this exhaust in the game, then I could get one of those big vans, raise the back end, put racing tires on it, sidepipe exhaust, a big spolier, that thing would be hot! And make flames come out of the exhaust, its only the right thing to do.

They most likely are scenery. Wait until we see a pic of the menu of different parts. Hopefully instead of giving the upgrades names (well, that would be nice too) they just show a pic of the upgrade, and if we choose we can see it before we buy it.

i wish u could get cars from a junkyard...like a '55 Bel Air or El Camino then take it to ur garage and there should be a restore option in the garage menu or somethin and it might cost 20k.........big twist: put Audiobahn subwoofers, hydrolics, gold 30 spoke rims on low profs...just kidding:p

On the engines, I agree we should be able to drop new engines in anything:

327's
350's
427's
502's

etc. Not that familiar with all the sizes, but we should be able to put in crate motors, new trannys, bore out the catalytic converters, take out the resonaters on the exhaust, new exhaust headers, sidepipes, exhaust straight out the hood, twin turbo
