What was your FIRST coaster of 2005? Mine was Son of Beast at PKI.

Also, what was your LAST coaster?? Right now, its Raptor, but I may just go to CP one more time.

First was Wildcat at Lake Compounce, last was Winldcat at Lake Compounce. Not that I only rode one coaster, it just worked it self out like that over the 3 times I went.

One word OUCH! that thing has become unbelievably rough & unridable :( which is a shame cuz back in the day I used to power ride the thing.

My first woulda been Supes but it vallied on opening day so I hit wild one instead,Supes will probably be my closer for the season as usual.

Yup, I remeber when it vallied. But Roar has been running A LOT better this year, the turn around at the end has become unbelivebly smoother then last year. It's like WHOA!

Hmmm, checking the log.... looks like the first was Manhattan Express at New York New York Casino on January 1, 2005. Don't know what took me so long to get started this year. :D

The last SO FAR would be Tomb Raider at Canada's Wonderland (189th unique coaster for 2005, tying my personal record for most unique coasters in a year), but I WILL be visiting Cedar Point again this year, and I hope to manage a December trip to Florida, so Tomb Raider certainly won't be the last. (I'd really like to get to 200 unique coasters for one year -- I've never done that, and this year is probably my last chance to do so. However, my fiancee will be having surgery in November, and we've got a wedding to pay for in April, so I'm not sure what will wind up happening in December.)

First coaster was the Pepsi Max Big One at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
My last coaster is currently Shockwave at Drayton Manor although that may change.

What better way to start off the 2005 season with your 100th coaster, Kingda Ka!

I've ridden Nemesis and Kingda Ka, and would have to say, I would much rather ride Kingda Ka as my first. Nemesis might have great themeing, but the ride isnt all that it's hyped up to be.

First was Magnum, of course, at CP. Last was also Magnum, so far. I'll be making 1 or 2 more visits to CP before closing, but last will most likely be Magnum or Millennium Force.

Not quite sure, but I think it was Okeechobee Rampage at my local amusement park, Cypress Gardens. It's a fun little coaster, I have a picture of it in my roller coaster collage taped onto my cpu. :D

You do have attitude. And no brains. Kingda Ka sucks! It is no fun! The top is no fun, TTD stops basically at the top, Kingda Ka zooms right over it, and then my head gets all screwed up on the bunny hop. Nemesis is amazingly good with the best scenery. Wow! I can't believe you said that!

My first coaster on the 2005 season was Superman: Ultimate Flight on June 21st at Six Flags Great America.

Because I belive a ride Is better then another dosn't meen I have no brains. It meens I think a ride is better then another . And I have been on Kingda Ka when it creeps over the top, just like TTD, and I've even been on a Kingda Ka rollback. So don't tell me Kingda Ka is worse then TTD. It has the extra hill, its taller, and faster. It's a better ride. Minus the fact that SFI runs it. Yes while TTD is more reliable, TTD has been running for 4 years and is going on its 5th. Kingda Ka, just opened.

not as fast as nemmy, but is pretty cool, just hope it doesnt get too rough by next year (it's not Corkscrew rough, but it'll certainly shake yer head a bit) and the quad in line twist is taken at a perfect speed.

wow...you guys will be ashamed. i did not visit one park, or ride a single coaster the entire year. i was supposed to hit Cedar Point last week, but the trip was cancelled last minute. this has been a busy year for me. SFoG didn't interest me, even though it's my home park. i get home park a.d.d. if they do not get anything new i don't go. but Goliath is well on it's well way!!! so you will be sure to see me on the fist train just like i was on Dejavu and S:UF!
