Music for Dr4

there wasn't a thread about Dr4 music so heres one:

post what music you want in Dr4, post some song names from the 70's that should be in the game(i know most u dont know songs from the 70's, some might know). let this thread grow big!:heart:

if u think about it, it would be wierd to hear only the songs from the 70's:weird: , so there should be modern songs too, like enter sandman, which i luv:heart:

Why would it be weird? The game is set in the 70s... and the best music of all time came from the 70s. I hope they have a robust soundtrack of Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Who, Queen, AC/DC, The Eagles, The Rolling Stones, and many other great bands.

ur right, but i don't listen or know about much older music, im more into modern rap/hiphop and rock, SON! just keep posting:up:

Have you guys forgotten that this is a CAR CHASE game? Having radio stations with 70's music would be conceeding even further to GTA. PL should have 70's car chase music like D2. Although there could be licenced stuff in the cutscenes.

Well they already said they have 40 licensed songs, or they're going to license that many. I don't know what system they;re using, I think they said a radio type thing? Hopefully its just where you can press a button to skip a song, that'd be better than GTA in some ways. I doubt Reflections would make many funny commercials or anything like GTA. I hope they have faster songs for when you;re being chased, and slower songs for just driving around.

Driving around - slower music, some blues, slow rock
Driving Fast - Fast rock music
Being Chased - Music that gets you on the edge of your seat, music can change the whole mood of the game.

as for my thoughts i think it should have all the great pop rock and soul from the 70s, anything that was big in the 70s i guess

id preffer it to be set in the 80s though, but theres always driver5 i suppose :D

I'm gonna have to agree with Albrozdud3 on the music choices. But there should be some funk to keep in line with the Driver series.

I remember Driver 2 had modern music (in cutscenes) and it was set in the 70's/80's.

Whenever Driver 3 was set, (mid 90's?) it still had modern music.

Still, DPL should have music that fits with the era.

I was messing around on guitar today and found out the Driver 1 meni music song. I'd tab it for you but that takes a lot of time, sorry for being lazy, but thats me. Maybe I will in the future..
