i reckon the 80s was the best but 70s is shortly behind the 80s

but is there a chance we'll see driver5 or even driver 4s storyline go into the 80s with all them killer soundtracks and sexy cars and babes?

please let us know atari :)

Well thats not anything worth noting. ALL the Ford Mustangs suck, it's only the Shelby's that were decent rides.

IMO those are the best Mustangs. The "Foxbody" years. They are still extremely heavy for their size, but that can be arranged later.;) I dig the "Bullit" rims that guy put on it. Not a huge Mustang fan myself, but if I were to go with one, it would probably be the "Foxbody" style or the late 60s fastback.

I didn't say the 80's weren't cool, I said most of their cars sucked.

But one good thing about setting the game in the 80's is that you can still have cars from the 60's and 70's.

As for Mustangs, I'd have to go with the first generation, late 90's/early 0's generation, or current generation

man, i saw unmarked cop mustangs, cameros,vettes (i think).
oh! there should be the major muscle cars in the game:Vette, Mustang, Chevelle, GTO, Charger:D ,camero, and thats all i can think right now
i hope they put chargers, their so big and heavy!, i would plow through traffic and stuff!

80's had a few decent cars, but none were sexy.

Ferraris were the only sexy cars in the 80s...that I can think of.

Driver..... in CYBERSPACE!

The game is exactly the same, except for everything is in 0's and 1's. And occasionally while driving through the city you get a 404 error.

Ah yes, Driver Matrix, you have to get used to the code to see whats going on. Hey, they're both titles owned by Atari, makes it even more possible.

Yes, every decade has its sexy cars, 80's were just very lacking. The IROC Camaros of the mid-late 80's were good too, although not Ferrari material.

1970's (shiver) That's when I was born. I liked playing 1980's in GTA - Vice City (I miss the 80's music). Maybe there should be a Driving game set in the future?

I got a better name for it, Driver Y3K.

I'm gonna make a game about this now, just because it sounds like a funny idea. Plus, nothing from then is set in stone yet, so you could really let your imagination run wild with that.

Okay. How about giving us some details about the game like the story, characters, missions, and vehicles matt_jon. I know that it simply won't be a real game, but I would certainly like to know what you think it should be and give us a reason why you picked that to be the name.

Ah, I'm bored of the concept now. I want a game where you can drive, shoot, and when you shoot anything it falls apart like in a movie, like the Matrix.

Like the mechassault games. I loved them so much and i'm getting better at it. Well the driving part i wouldn't consider, but you were able to pilot mechs, which was awesome and i do hope that they make a 3rd one.
