alright...... those pics are awesome..... but there was one thing that bothered me. in two pics, you see the kid with a gun drawn, and another with a cop with a gun drawn. in one of those pics a random pedestrian is standing outside of a car in the middle of a street. in the other, there is pedestrian getting out of a car in the middle of the street. i hope that when you have a gun drawn, the pedestrians dont get out of their cars...... i hope this isnt what the pics are showing, and i hope the pedestrians speed off instead.

Have to agree with the above post on peds and guns
Wow, good find, although the pics are all strangely distorted, I can see what they mean, if you catch my drift. Wow, that was cheesy
The graphics do look like they're getting worse... could it be because an earlier report said there'd be 20-30 cars onscreen and the latest says 80? Are they compensating for cpu power?
I think its most likely though that its still relatively early, so not all the cars are finished, cause some screens look like D3 completed, others look halfway between 2 and 3 graphics-wise, but thats still an overestimate

 Random and pointless violence is the core of games like this!

Yeah it surely will and I don't really care that much for the graphics. I mean Driver and Driver 2 had bad graphics, but it was so much fun playing those games. And it's good to hear that they're not focusing on the graphics that much instead they are spending some good time on the gameplay, which is a good idea. I mean it's not like the game is going to be very bad just because the graphics are a bit weaker. This has also happened to Resident Evil 4 and yet it's still the best resident evil game so it really shouldn't matter. The player will want to focus more on the gameplay rather than on the graphics.

Well, graphics and programming are two different departments, with different people working in them at the same time, so its not like making good graphics is gonna make bad gameplay. Though it could be that they hire a lot of graphics people to get better graphics faster and hire less programmers who make the gameplay.

When early in development, there is usually a lot more work done on the engine and content than graphics itself. So you can certainly expect that this will not represent the final version.

Not only do I seconded that but I also want to say that these are screens, and that there are still essential parts that need to go in, otherwise you get a game full of null zones, and random glitches. Everything needs to be solidified, meaning that the buildings need to be solid. For all we know those, other parts of the city outside those screens could just be null.

You mean the one of the liquor store? That's how Reflections' cutscenes look.
And by "everything looks 2D" I'm guessing you mean "everything looks 2D except for everything, which actually does looks 3D because that's what it really is."

Huh that made some sense. But 3d is 2d on a tv unless you have a 2d 3d tv screen.
