Any new members or Vet that dont come much or anyone do not buy Driv3r Reloaded. It was a big Scam just to get money. So there is NO MOD for Driver 3.

Just post if you have sent money in.

Pyros, you are the best. Why aren't you head admin or head moderator or something?

If anyone did pay, I recommend they contact Paypal themselves as well. Also, I would also ask they PM or e-mail me a little note saying they did, in case I have to forward this to Atari's legal department. Fraud, theft, and the other criminal activities related with this mod are a serious offence.

I don't work for Atari ;)

I also contacted paypal the moment I found out the mod was a scam. Question is, what are they going to do about it?

They'll freeze his Paypal account, and if he hasn't withdrawn the funds, transfer them back. If he has taken them out, they'll most likely contact his bank, or even hopefully give his personal information to Atari in case they want to press charges.

You people still believed D3 was moded? lmao! Sorry, but I have to say, Reflections built the game this was so no one could mod the game. I mean who honestly would buy something made by a single guy representing it? Sorry to anyone who thought I was dissing you. Honestly there is no damn way to mod DRIV3R, Reflections isn't so open to giving out files about their game as Rockstar is.

For those who bought the game, I can't believe that Pay Pal actually did that, it wasn't even real. I knew there had to be a something wrong, but I was too caught up in the fact the someone might of actually made it.
Thank you Pyros for you aid, dude you rock, and thanks Mattlab for banning that little ba*tard.

I was skeptical right from the very beginning. And I was like the only one to put this mod under realistic critical scruitiny. I figured Driver 3 was built primarily on C++, or another common language, and all it took was a hex editor to decode the physics engine. From there, I thought using C++ or whatever it would be relatively easy to code in new features, although they would probably be ripped from other open-source programs. That's what I thought Driv3r Reloaded was.

Honestly there is no damn way to mod DRIV3R

What are you talking about? There already have been mods, remember that thing about Istanbul cars in Miami? That was a mod.

Reflections isn't so open to giving out files about their game as Rockstar is.

Rockstar does not officially support modding. They never released like a Vice City SDK or anything. It's all been done by modders, including mod tools.

If Reflections was serious about stopping mods, they would have filesize checking hardcoded into the exe, so if a single file was out of place, (or had been modded) Driver 3 would CTD. Even Rockstar did that with San Andreas.

So yeah, I believed it could have been real. But not without a lot of skepticism and some serious doubt.

I never put much thought into it because I don't have the PC version so I didn't care about the mod anyway.

First off, I'd like to tell all you people that nobody donated to my "fake" fund, not even one penny, and I have my paypal account history to prove it.

Second of all, wtf is up with mods Pm'ing me and then banning me without giving me a chance to read the PM? Dont you know that if you ban someone, they wont be able to login and read their PM's?

Third of all, I am a f*ckin business man, and am affliated with many companies, and have multiple online business's, and receive lots of money thruogh paypal, so dont f*ck with my paypal account.

Fourth of all, if anybody would have donated absolutly anything, I would return it at the end of the joke, cause thats all it was, a JOKE!

All I wanted to do was have a little fun becuase I was REALLY bored, and at that time I wasnt attending college yet, so I had no school work, and my car was at the shop getting fixed, so I couldnt go chill with my friends.

geez, cant you people take a freakin joke?

So you decided to try to get funds from members illegally as a joke? Yeah, gotcha. As a "business man", you should really have been able to think that idea through and go "WOW, THAT IS AN INCREDIBLY STUPID IDEA WHAT WAS I THINKING". Unfortunately, you did not. As such, I have no intention of asking PayPal to stop the investigation, as even if you did not recieve money, it is obvious your intention was to recieve money.

A really stupid "joke".

How did you know you received PMs if you can't access your PM library because your account is banned?

"Bored". Now HERE'S a joke. You think you're so intelligent, couldn't you have thought of a better excuse?

BTW, Pyros, you should remove the link in Gamezilla's sig, just in case.

According to this post, I think that Cole's right. I mean nothing's impossible and may take a year or so to come up with a mod, but certainly it's impossible to make a mod in only 6-8 months. It would take quite a while to find a team and do all of that work. Although if you work for about a year then I think it would be possible to do.

I just worked out the coding and parts of the missions and free ride can be modded... Just seeing if textures can be removed from it's secure archive.
