After my most recent park, Animalia bit the proverbial dust, I decided to begin work on a new idea. It's very rudimentary at the moment, but it will have attractions based on the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Below are some ideas I've got right now for each attraction
Great Pyramid of Giza
- Dark Ride through ancient pyramids
Hanging Gardens of Babylon
- Undecided, possible eating area
Statue of Zeus at Olympia
- I'm thinking a combination of coaster and laser elements within the structure to simulate an angry Zeus
Temple of Artemis at Ephesus
- Marketplace
Mausoleum at Halicarnassus
-A tower drop ride submerged below the earth
Collusus of Rhodes
- Helios' Sun Chariot. A coaster that's a tribute to the God Helios. Will have it's own fireworks display within the ride.
Lighthouse at Alexandria
- I'm thinking a coaster that features a holding break that looks out the top of the lighthouse before dropping straight down
I'm going to try to make the placement of each of these Wonders placed in it's correct geographic place, but logistically it will be somewhat difficult because the three coasters are relatively close together.

The one's he has a the "official" Wonders of the Ancient World. However, only one of them is left standing to day -- The Pyramids at Giza.
(BTW, it's spelled "Ephesus.")

The first thing I'll be building are the pyramids, which will incidentally be the easiest. I looked at things logistically, and it doesn't seem that I'll be able to really put things in their appropriate geographic locals. Picture the park map like a tic tac toe board with 9 different areas. The entrance will be in the middle at the bottom, the center will be water and the 7 wonders will be along the perimiter. I've yet to break ground, but I'll post pictures as soon as I do.
A look at the layout of the park... you can see the corners have been dropped down in 45x45 squares. The park measures 135x135, so each attraction will have a 45x45 square. You can see the foundation of the pyramids in the background.

Initial ride specs:
Excitement: 4.00
Intensity: 0.23
Nausea: 0.10
Track length: 2847.46
Time: 3:42
Here is the layout of the pyramids with virtually no theming. The track layout is complete (I used the Haunted Hotel), and travels underground at times. The pyramids are 5x5, 6x6, 11x11, 12x12, and 21x21. The ride goes in the three largest pyramids, and is at two elevations in the 21x21 pyramid. It's currently set up for 5 different chambers, I'm debating how to handle the underground areas. I could make large rooms, extend long dark hallways, or have it extend long hallways with hieroglyphics and other walls from the egypt set.

Yes, the video offers a glimpse of the scenery, but the video really doesn't do it justice.

I'm looking to get back into this park, but I'm not sure what attraction should be next. I'm thinking one of the coasters:
Statue of Zeus at Olympia
- I'm thinking a combination of coaster and laser elements within the structure to simulate an angry Zeus
Collusus of Rhodes
- Helios' Sun Chariot. A coaster that's a tribute to the God Helios. Will have it's own fireworks display within the ride.

Here's a look at the Lighthouse. As you can see I had to change it to adapt with RCT3 and my desire to put a Coaster inside. You'll also see the back isn't finished, this picture was taken before I put up all the walls.

The Tower Drop at the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus
-The tower drop is as high as it possibly can be. I made the building 15x15 which is the smallest of the buildings thus far (I believe the biggest pyramid is 21x21, and the Library is 20x20). I really like how the building looks, it blends 4 different building types.

This ride is at the Collusus of Rhodes and it's called Helios' Sun Chariot. I know my parks aren't as "plush" as some of the others on here, but the rides themselves have had quite a bit of effort put in them. I welcome any suggestions for improving the rides or the park as a whole.
The initial ride specs are as follows:
Excitement: 7.24
Intensity: 6.98
Nausea: 3.08
Max Speed 89.15
Ride Time: 1:31
Ride Length: 5713.10 ft
1 Inversion
Highest Drop: 202.79 ft
Here are some early shots of the construction of the ride.
This is a look at the bridge to the ride entrance. There are 36 fireworks mortars that are all underneath the bridge. The terrain will meet up with the bridge and the rest of the sunken area will be water. This underground fireworks/fire particle area will best simulate the sun, solar flares, etc.
http://members.aol.com/RSoxNo1/7th/Chariot1.jpg
The view over the bridge right now. Because I can't replicate the Collusus, I'll be using the destroyed remains in the Atlantis motif.
http://members.aol.com/RSoxNo1/7th/Chariot2.jpg
An overview of the terrain. The raised terrainareas will be where the track goes underground in what appears to be water.
http://members.aol.com/RSoxNo1/7th/Chariot3.jpg
Most of the work that's left is simple construction of the Collusus statue/remains and the fireworks display. So as to make the entire park publicly available I won't be using any custom scenery. The fireworks I'll be using are: Atomic Flowers, Fountains, Glitter Fountains, Fairy Fountains, Fround Fountain Arcs, Spheres of Fire and Thunder Blitz

Helios' Sun Chariot (at the Colossus of Rhodes) is complete.
The Ride Specs:
Excitement: 8.54
Intensity: 7.24
Nausea: 3.40
Time: 1:30
Track Length: 5711.28 ft
Biggest Drop: 202.83 ft
As I mentioned previously I wanted to create a MixMaster display for part of this ride, to simulate the sun and solar flares. The sun area (underneath the bridge) has 36 mortars. On top of the pedestal are 4 Laser Domes (for the Search lights) and behind the pedestal are 2 more Mortars that are for Thunder Blitz's. I didn't want to use any custom scenery in the park, so all the park's construction, fireworks, etc. came with the game (or one of the two expansions).
The "Chariot" Mixmaster display is 4:37 seconds long and costs $924.39 every time it runs (it's more or less continuous).
And now, onto the ride pictures (Hopefully I'll have a video up later tonight):
First, a look at the ride at night... I've lit the bridge with lamps and those are spotlights on the pedestal and Thunder Blitz's in the background. You can also see on the right a fire on the water that creates a cool effect when the reflection is turned on.
http://members.aol.com/RSoxNo1/7th/Chariot4.jpg
This is the last thing you see before your exit the sun area underneath the bridge:
http://members.aol.com/RSoxNo1/7th/Chariot5.jpg
Returning to the station. The track on the left is where the cars emerge from the sun area.
http://members.aol.com/RSoxNo1/7th/Chariot6.jpg
A view from behind the pedestal. The Pyramids at Giza are in the distance, and the space between the two attractions will be for the Hanging Gardens food court.

Seeing as nobody is really interested in this park, my next project is going to be a park themed around big cats. The first attraction set for this park will be the most complex roller coaster I've ever made.
For those that have followed my threads, it'll combine the animal interaction found in my Animalia attractions: Arctic Winds (the Suspended coaster over the Polar Bear sanctuary) and Simian Way (the giant flume through primate exhibits)
The lush scenery and waterfalls of Coasta Saurus (the time travel twister coaster from Animalia that brings you back to the age of the Dinosaurs)
In and out of buildings like in the Lighthouse at Alexandria (Seven Wonders coaster)
I haven't drafted up any formal ideas for a ride sequence. I just know that the ride will have a face to face with at least one tiger (either the saber tooth animatronic, or an actual tiger), and it will also go through a level track section where tigers will be roaming freely.
The name of the attraction is Montecore's revenge. For those of you magic fans, Montecore is the name of the Tiger that attacked Roy from Siegfried and Roy. This attraction was originally meant to fill the large space in my Animalia park, but that park kept crashing.

I drafted a temporary "scene list"
Right now i'm using a tilt coaster, but that's subject to change. I want to be able to force the ride to stop and watch a tiger show, when I drafted it, I thought the pause before the tilt section would be greater, does anyone have any idea how I could satisfy my need of making the ride stop for 10-15 seconds to stop and watch a tiger show?

First shot of Montecore's Revenge:
http://members.aol.com/RSoxNo1/Cats/Montecore1.jpg
I have quite a bit of terra forming to do, but I've decided for the purposes of the ride video I'm just going to place the tigers into a space enclosed by raised land as opposed to actual animal fences.
The coaster is 2:57, and has over 11000 feet of track, and fits on a 128x50 plot of land. As you can see I haven't added any trees to the attraction yet, but once the terra forming is done I will add trees and tigers.
