Guys just watched the video saw the new screenshots and had an idea of what may happen after reading a post on gamespot. what if you get double crossed when your thrown in jail, and though your technacially a bad guy, the guys who double crossed are really the ones the police want. then you get out in 2006 or 2008 (whatever year it is) and team up with tanner to try and shut these guys down and bring them to justice? don't know but it seems that it could easily happen that way driver still would have it's classic hero and you would become his partner, what do you guys think?

i highly doubt that the kid, the one who kills ruthlessly and doesnt have a soul, will ever partner up with tanner. tanner is gone.

The big twist is suppose to change many things in the game. What you just said was a smart idea, but it doesn't change the game dramaticly, like the 30 years in prison thing does.
Oh man, I hope escaping from prison is a mission.

Just as I suspected, if the time change is indeed the "big secret" that "changes all gameplay", it was a false statement. It doesn't change the gameplay, only the surroundings. But maybe you could argue the cars handle better, the guns shoot faster and aim better, and TK runs slower, in which case it does change the gameplay slightly, but not enough to say it completely changes the gameplay.

I doubt they'll use Tanner much anymore for 2 reasons:
1:I translated a headline of a german article saying "Undercover cop Tanner is dead"
2:They made him to be WAY too psycotic in the latest game, and although I enjoyed the dark theme and music, it didnt feel like a driving game anymore.
