Hi everyone.

My question about custom scenery and the Disney Train Station is below the pictures.... But first A big thank you to Shyguy and other scenery designers.

I'm new to the board and working with building pices etc. What got me started with building pieces and custom scenery is ShyGuy's Main Street Packs. When my niece logged onto the forum and saw that someone was making adisney park and had these cool pictures, she could not find these buildings in the program. So I took a look and WOW!

I downloaded the sets and within a few hours created some buildings. Let me know what you think:

With some more practice I will be pretty good at it I hope.
These are just testing and will be deleted to create alll new buildings with detailed interiors. Right now all sidewalks are working with paths underneath. But I think its a pretty good start at a first try.

Okay on to my Disney Train Station Question...

Does anyone have a nice Disney Train Station that is done with Shyguys scenery packs? If so do you mind sharing it with me. I dont want to use it I just am not sure on what the train structure looks like as far as the structure. While I have seen photos and been to disney, I have never actually rode on the train, and the pictures that I have seen are all from ground view. So any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

I will look at what you did just to get some ideas and then create my own.

So if you can save it as a building or send me the park... I would really appreciate it.

Thank you all once again for your tips and tricks and scenery.

BTW, does anyone know if any of the trams or trains in RTC3 can actually loop to run back on the same track like Disney's main street?

Those buildings look fantastic buyinflatables   Very nice work on them.

I don't know of any stations offhand, but I'm sure someone has made one already.

Thanks Tim, I'm glad you're enjoying them. Yes I have a few projects I've been working on. Life, work, the holidays, etc. have been getting in the way, but I'll hopefully be getting one of them completed & released soon.

Wow!

For a beginner, those buildings look great! Glad you're enjoying my scenery pack. You've definitely got the hang of it. Can't wait to see what you come up with when you really get good at it! :D

How did you manage it, that the balconies not dissapear on your pics. I can only make closer shots when i use the balconies. Otherwise you don't see them.

And about your park ... absolute amazing.

Hey ShyGuy, Thanks for the comments. Much appreciated.. especially coming from you. I am impatiently awaiting the release of #3 to add that to my bulding designs.

Hey Spanky, Thank you for the compliment... although these 2 blocks of buildings are just testing. Playing with the pieces to get to learn how to build the buildings and seeing how they work with other RTC3 Supplied pieces such as on the McDonalds Building... Which I think came out really well. Did double story in there.

To answer yoru question... in the options I set the draw distance option to the max. Hope that helps.

I have a pretty decent one. I based it off of one picture, so it's not completely accurate (I KNOW the back is completely off), but it looks nice enough.

The terrain around it is completely different, as are the walkways under it, but I wanted to make it my own way. (And there's a monorail, instead of a train.)

I wouldn't know any better to be honest. It does look really nice though. Keep it up!

You couldn't post a list of what scenery you got installed could you? I know you got the main street and food courts n stuff, but wheres the tables (have been really inactive recently)

Hey Dattu, Nice picture... would love to see more on what you did on this. Do you have other pictures... or could you save this as a building and email it to me? If so, please PM me for my email address. Thanks!

Neo Sure I can. When I get home I will be happy to post it for you. The tables which are really cool because they are colorable with the umbrella's and come in round or square tables are from Marnetmar Leftoverz pack seen here:

Hope this helps.

Hey Joe Thanks! Did you want something specific? I wanted to re-work all the buildings ec. Especially when Pack #3 comes out. But if you want something let me know. I know I have the Long 1-block building saved as a building... and the McDonalds saved as a building.

I was thinking of creating some 2 story pieces of wall that can be mixed and matched to help those with Shyguys packs. Different top and bottom combinations. Do you think that would be helpful to the community? I have to give back somehow. LOL

Thats a great help! Thanks mate. Like joetomnj said, it would be nice to download these buildings for our own personal use. Keep up the good work :)

Sure I can do that!!

I will post the McDonald's and the block long Starbucks Coffee Plaza later this evening... As for the others... I will be creating all new ones. These were just tests really. I will start a new thread labeled Custom Buildings with ShyGuys materials... This way all the building I create... along with wall pieces will be added to it as a progress. Maybe I will even take some requests for specific buildings or color schemes. See how my time goes. Right now I run a huge Holiday inflatables business... and while christmas is over Valentines and easter is fast approaching.
