I'm having trouble with this scenery, do I need to download this scenery in a special way? I remember one scenery pack needed to have the files extracted twice before they could work, disfan's tables I beleive it was. Is this the case with lulujarre's scenery?
I get the classic "no svd" error when I try and open these in the game.

Hi Your_Name_Here,
I recently downloaded a couple of lulujarre's scenery packs. They seem to be done in a different language... and when you unzip there is an executable file. I just hitting continue, which installed the items in my folders. The buttun in the middle is the continue button.

I got that, but when I try and open the 'western' scenery (the one with the water tower and the eagle), it comes up with the "no svd for sid" error and it shuts down the game and I have to wait about 15 minutes for my computer to quit whining about it.
So I'm not sure if I have to remove more folders from the folder that was installed, like disfan's table set.

Some stuff works of theirs and some stuff doesn't. Things like the Safari, Star Wars and Toons definitely crash when you use them. I am wondering if Jonwil contacted them to convert the stuff? Oh well, I am sure when Battor gets around here he will maybe be able to help convert Lulujarre's stuff and than post at his forums what has been updated to work with Wild and the recent Patches.

I have the lulujare scenery (including the safari, star wars and toons stuff) and I can say that (on my system running the US english version of Wild! and the US/austrailian version of windows), the simpsons, smurfs, safari animals and star wars vehicles scenery is working 100% with Wild! (and this is the same files I downloaded from the website, I havent modified them at all)

The same here (and I have the European version of RCT3 and its expansions).

Lulujarre's Objects have always a main folder. You must go inside this folder and then move or copy the folder(s) inside this one to c:/program files/atari/rlooercoaster tycoon 3/style/themed or where you have stored your RCT3-version.
And they will work with wild!

Thanks man! That was the answer I was looking for. Now the scenery works! :)

Because they definitely give me the Nosid for sud error when I click on them in the menu.
I'll goto Battor's site and redownload the files. Perhaps he or Lulujarre updated them but forgot to post.

Make sure you do what I did, on the Safari, American, and Rock n Roller Coaster ones you need to remove a folder after you've extracted them. The folder you remove should include another folder (with the scenery items in it) and two .ovl files.

The problem is they zipped the files with folders within folders...my dumb mistake  ...
When you unzip the folder, double click in that zipped folder and you will find another folder containing his content, similar with battor's stuff I found. Then just drag the folder within a folder into the area for your user created content goes. It will than work.
Just the way they zipped it is deceiving. Anyhow, both Battor and Lulujarre have some awesome stuff.

OK topstar lets take an example. You have the safari zipped file. Inside the zipped file is a folder called safari. Normally you would drop that into the correct spot and that would do it. But the way they set it up, you need to look inside that zipped folder named safari and you will spot another folder named safari. Thats the folder within the folder and that is why Lulujarres safari crashed on me and might be having menu problems. What you have to do is unzip the file, than take that second safari folder (same holds true for most of his other scenery too) and drop that second safari folder into the correct spot and it will work fine.
Now where is the correct spot? I'm more than glad to show you.
Lets presume that you setup RCT3 on your typical C: drive.
It would be in the following folder path...
C: Program Files--->Atari--->RollerCoaster TycoonŽ 3--->Style--->Themed
You drop that second Safari folder in there and than restart the game. The stuff should show up in their respective menus and work fine.
Incidently, my good friend Jonwil redid with permission, many of the older scenery that was incompatible. you will find some of them here at
http://www.sebar.com/jonwil for free downloading. (Note: this was not meant to plug the sebar domain)
Of course Battor77 and Lulujarre's items is at their respective forums.
Check the Atari forums here for updated scenery. Almost all of the old stuff has been upgraded and works well. My hats are off to all of the great scenerymakers for their fine work and also Frontier for their fine work providing us this base and product....all have done an exceptional job.
