The object importer is just under a year old now and is has already resulted in many great scenery sets being made.
You can already create anything under the "scenery" tab in the game that doesnt require animation (including scenery, walls, rooves, blocks, plants, trees, litter bins, photo spots, speakers, passport machines, lamps, benches and queue line TVs)
In 2006, I plan to make things even better.

I have conducted preliminary research into paths and queue paths and if I can get the game to recognise a new path or queue path properly, making custom paths and queue paths will become possible.

If I can get Wild! into the same setup I use to figure out data formats for Soaked!, I plan to investigate how animal toys, animal shelters and fences work and if creating new ones is possible.

The big news for 2006 is the continued progress on animation and stalls.
I should have the first ever custom animated item for RCT3 ready for release once I write code into the importer to generate animation data (this will be a test item only and it doesn't mean actual animation importing just yet).
I am also working on custom stalls and once I get code into the importer to generate stall data, it should be possible to make new stalls. Initially, I will be making and releasing some test shops (what is released depends on what the community can make for me to turn into a shop).
Assuming the tests go well, the next step is for truely custom shops to happen with the community playing with all the unknown numbers to figure out what they mean.

I am also planning to look into new items for shops to sell but they will be more complex.

This is the scenery importer roadmap for 2006, I plan to devote as much time as I can to this (with a full-time job, that isnt as much as I would like though :)

This all sounds Great Jonwil, I'm sure the modding community will be able to come up with many excellent new things when you can get all of these things figured out.
