Okay, now for all of those who really love anime, we've seen the best and we've seen the worst. For me, the best anime is DBZ, as you all know. Now as the fans of anime that we are, we also witnessed some of the worst anime as well. So I decided to start this topic so you all can post which anime you think is the worst. So...what's the worst you people have seen?

Yeah. That "Fist of the Nose Hair" is so whack and just plain stupid. As for me, does anyone recall "Super Milk Chan"? Now THAT was seriously a waste of television. The main character's a 5-year-old girl named Milk who has a bad attitude and always says, "You dumba$$!". She has a robot dog who pees on anything that stands still long enough, another robot who's ultimate power is farting, a slug that's always drunk and a really ugly mayor who has what looks like a tumor growing on his head. That show is crap.

Maybe I think it's not that great because i don't watch it enough. Still, i've seen all 6 episodes in a row, I follow the story just fine. I just don't think its very good.

I never said DBZ was the best anime either. Quite honestly, i'm more of a Manga fan myself. Of course, DBZ was the first exposure to anime that I had. If I had to choose one, I'd probably say Gundam Wing, or maybe Evanglion.

I think the card game can be fun for any age. If you like strategy games, you will like dueling with YGO cards. I enjoy it, it takes alot of brains to win. Enless you are playing a total dumb sh*t.

I found it better. i can't stand the card factor of the anime. Doesn't really involve as much skill as in the Manga.

Well, I can't judge something that I have not seen, Sayainpride4. About the other shows you mentioned ("Duel Masters, Zach Bell, BeyBlade, Digimon, Hack, Kakerenbo Hide And Seek, W.I.T.C.H., and many many more that suck ass."), I haven't bothered myself to put up with watching them. I've seen a few episodes of DBZ in my day.... Then again, that was around elementary school....

I may have a strange taste in preferences, but then again, that's my opinion, is it not?

For me it's one of those shows where if the female characters were male, then there would be no reason to watch it. The plot started going in one direction, and in the middle just went somewhere else, and ended with everyone in the same place they were in at the start.

PS Broadcasters don't always decide what shows they air based on how good it is, but also how popular they think it would be if it was aimed at their target audience.

Easily. They have very little in common.

In DBZ, everything is extremely drawn out*, and the action to other crap ratio is 1 minute of actual fighting** to 15 minutes of other crap*. Moreover it is not redeemed by any comedic value, which makes it completely dull and unappeasing to me.

Bobobo on the other hand, is hilarious. It is a mockery of all other animes, and it does it well. It also eliminates all the things I don't like about DBZ*.


*I.E. Staredowns, 10 minute transformations, ghasps, etc. **If you can call black lines and blurriness actual fighting.

i never said i watched boondocks(well 1 or 2 episodes). i just said it was more forgiveable to watch that than some random 12 ounce mouse or perfect hair crap. bad drawings, bad dialect bad everything. at least boondocks you can clearly tell the dialect is good the drawing is great(which means this wasnt done while written by drunken monkeys that are banana starved) just its not a show i like. but unlike the art on the other aforemention shows(can we call those shows has having art?) proves truely no effort was put onto a program that is suppose to be for tv. i mean if you are going to air something on tv at least make it respectable not trashy as hell. i jerry springer has more class than some of these butchered shows they air. they truely are THAT bad. at least boondocks has what shall we call it production values? yea thats a good word.

Bo Bo Bo is sorta like a twisted version of DBZ except Mr. Satan is the main character. A lot of the characters look like DBZ characters, they do beam attacks like DBZ.

Inuyasha is good but unfortunately it's a hero animé which means it gets predictable really quick, like DBZ.

ok genious lets go over this. the flood of animes in america and its beginning to be more popularized and brought to the open public was because of two shows. akira and DBZ they are the shows that commercialized and popularized anime. when you popularized something in another country you become the father factor of that birth of whatever it is you are popularizing in this case DBZ and Akira being the first truely notable animes to hit america and create a spring of video games vhs,dvds and whatnot over here. when you do that you father something over here. granted akira didnt quite do that but it came before dbz and dbz really took the market to the new places and created the niche anime crowd we have in america today which is im assuming growing by the increase in dvd sales and all that fun stuff and new shows coming over. notice we consider old shows made in the 60s that are anime in america new meaning its a new thing to us because dbz popularized it they "fathered" it. the sayian saga is still dbz so either way blame dbz for your hate on anime's multiculturism which is killing the economy as you so say.

If it's funny, I really don't give a damn what the hell it looks like, or if it has a plot or not. If I wanted that, I'd watch something else. I watch them to laugh, and it accomplishes that, so it's a good show.

I prefer dub over nothing but if given a choice I guess I would go with subtitled in this case. It doesn't really matter all that much to me unless the dub voices are immensely annoying or off like in Chrno Crusade(which I enjoyed but didn't like one voice acting).

In Japan manga are as popular as newspapers, and seeing a business man reading a manga on the train would be common.
