Coming this Friday, February 3rd, 2006 at 6PM East USA Coast time; Atari and Deep Red will be at irc.enterthegame.com channel #TycoonCity to answer your questions about Tycoon City. This is your chance to be asking that one or maybe a few questions about it! Also, people who are attending have the chance to win a FREE copy of Tycoon City*! Now, we bet you are wondering who will be there to answer your questions… well, here’s all that great info!
Who is going to be there? Jon Law, Designer at Deep Red, and Bill Carroll the head producer of Atari, will be online as well to answer your questions. In addition, a few other special guests may appear in the chats also.
When is this happening? This Friday, February 3rd 2006 at 6PM East USA coast time.
How am I going to get there? There are a few ways to get in to the IRC channel. If you have an mIRC client, you can simply type this: /server irc.enterthegame.com -j #TycoonCity
For those of you who don’t have an IRC client, you can use the java chat here: http://www.enterthegame.com/chat.asp?CHAN=TycoonCity
How do I submit questions? When the bot known as EventServices is in the channel, simply type: /msg EventServices your question here
How will my question be transferred to the developers? Simple, when you message the EventServices bot, it will be sent to a holding area for it to be approved or removed. Also, depending on how many questions we get. More questions that you submit the greater the chances of one of them being sent to the developers in the channel to answer live.
So here’s a recap of what is going to happen. This Friday, February 3rd at 6PM East coast time Atari and Deep Red will be in the IRC channel #TycoonCity to chat live with you all. The channel will be muted (+m) at the time of the event. Hope to see you all there!
