WARNING!

I just tried installing the Iceatcs' Timber Building Update Version 3 and my virus scan detected a "key logger" titled IAMBIGBROTHER.exe attached to the file. Please double check that you virus scan any files you download (with updated software) as I am dealing with my bank right now for a credit card fraud probably because my old virus scan was out of date.

I'm sure the Timber set is fabulous but I am going to wait untill later to re-download and install.

Thanks,
Andrew

I have just downloaded it (and included it in the complete scenery list) and found no viruses at all. I am using F-Secure and it is updated.

Please don't make it overtop. You have PMed me then you already made a thread as well.
You should have check with your anti-virus scanner before you post this thread. It isn't great idea that you started the thread that you know your virus scan was out of date.
There is no virus at all in my computer or this pack.
So it was YOUR computer.

Excuse me for saying this; but I too just downloaded your Timbers Wall Set, and there is nothing wrong with it. There are no viruses attached to this program, so he might have picked it up from something else.

I've had the DL since early this afternoon, and there was no virus detected - and I've checked with 2 programs.

I've downloaded both the exe & the zip & like Pumper, checked with 2 anti virus programs & there's nothing there. I don't doubt you got a virus, but it didn't come from this pack.

I use Norton Internet Security 2006 which comes with Norton AntiVirus 2006. I also use the Bazooka Adware and Spyware scanner for a quick 2-second scan.

my scan didn't pick up anything, which mean no virus. You might got either hacked or you went to a strange site that was loaded with virus or you may got it from a chat program.

Just clean up your computer and delete the timber thing and redownload it and see if the virus appears.

Might I enquire what server you found this virus on as his expansions might be getting distributed from several sources.

Its always possible somebody at a different file distribution server could have added a virus. Please confirm where the file came from, thanks.

I only just wanted to make sure that it was checkes as I know I could have gotten the virus from another source.... It was caught in time so no need to worry on my end I just didn't want others be possibly dowload a virus too. I got it from the download from www.iceatcs.co.uk (http://www.iceatcs.co.uk). Just to clarify my Anti Virus software was new and updated.

No virus what so ever, it must be your machine.

I also use the Bazooka Adware and Spyware scanner for a quick 2-second scan.

Bazooka? That has to be the worst Anti Spyware program I have ever come across. Honestly, it has about 500 signatures! Compared to Spybot S&D which has about 29,000. Yes, it's quick, but it's also absolutely useless for finding things.

I use SpySweeper (http://www.webroot.com/consumer/products/spysweeper/?WRSID=1d320fab2a59d63f6ced71f1295706bd) which uses about 129,000 definitions as of right now! That's alot of stuff. Full system scan takes about 13 minutes, which is just about right if I hop in the shower, go start some food, or whatever. Honestly, one of the best programs I have seen. And it updates almost every time I turn it on, so I would say that's a good thing.

Haha, I use the same program! I must say, it works very well too. It's subscription is going to run out soon, so I'll need to renew it...

Anyways, I ran a virus check on the Timber Set file, and it's clean as a whistle.
