This is just a quick thing I did in 5 minutes, just a simple green post with very simple textures to get used to the program, and just wondering if any of you experts could tell me how to improve.

Looks as though there are way to many faces (Which means to many polys) on the circular parts, Id try to cut them down to about 10

Read also the tread about textures in Sketchup. The pole is nice, reminds me to Lego.

Like I said, this isn't anything serious. This was just getting used to the program.
I will try to cut down on polys, and I will read that thread.
