HOLY CRAP this is driving me sooooo off the wall!!!! I've been to just about every custom scenery help thread, "fixed" the files a billion times, but every time I go to use certain custom scenery, the game freezes, I go to the computer screen, and a little message in a box says plainly and confusingly:
No :svd for :sid
OK, WHAT THE HECK IS THIS??
PLEASE, PLEASE HELP!!! If you know what to do or what this message means that will enable me to use custom scenery to my conent, please RESPOND ASAP!! It would mean so much to me!

This means that the custom scenery you are trying to use is not compatible with Wild!, most likely. It depends on the sets that are causing the problem.

Ok, first of all, thank you so much for helping.
Here's a list of the custom scenery that won't work for me:
Disfan's table set
DRP's Lightz
Iceatcs Curved Slide Supports
Klinn's Framework
Shy's Circus Set
Expo 3000 Set
Main Street Sets 1,2,3
Zeppelin's Rockwell Font
Actually, I haven't tried all of these sets, due to my high frustration level of restarting the game after I just even move the mouse over bad scenery, but the ones that don't work are recently installed, so I just listed the ones that I installed at the same time. I hope this will help you help me :weird: .

They should all work. The scenery may have unzipped like this: C:/Program Files/Atari/Rollercoaster Tycoon 3/Style/Themed/customset/customset/(customset referring to whatever set it is). There are two custom folders, one inside the other. Try removing the inner folder to the desktop, deleting the outer folder in Style/Themed, then replacing the folder that was moved to the desktop. Hope that wasn't too confusing, I'm sure there are others here that can explain it better.

I used to have that problem with my dining tables. Luckily, I fixed it by putting everything correctly. This is how you do it: for all of the custom scenery that you see there, go to their folders. Now, move all of the subfolders of the custom scenery back one folder. I hope you understand.
Note that your custom scenery DOES work for Wild!.

I have the same problem with this set: Projecteurs.zip which is the custom projectors set.
This set is definately updated to work with Wild and all subfolders are in the correct RCT3 directory.
c/programfiles/atari/rollercoastertycoon3/styles/themed/projecteurs
I have installed the set twice and still keep on getting the same message after the game quits. :weird:

Yeah, I realized that and had already done that before posting. Thanks, anyway.
Modchip, I don't understand what you're saying. But I've got the game running now and I'll try again. Please keep posting suggestions. They're helping
Thanks

Each custom set is suppose to be in its own directory. The trick is it's actually TWO directories. Example: DRP lightz has a folder inside also called DRP lightz that has the actual files. So that's two common files and the folder under the DRP lightz folder.

Was the problem already cleared?
I also had the same problem.
C:/Program Files/Atari/Rollercoaster Tycoon 3/Style/Themed/Disfan1's Tables & Blinds/
In this case. not clear.
You should move the folders who enter in Disfan1's Tables & Blinds to /Themed.
A photograph is an example.

However, is this method a regular method?
I don't understand.

This is the only set like this that I know of RCT BOY. I believe with all the other sets, you can just unzip the main folder into the Themed folder & it will work correctly.

Was the method which I said a correct answer?
I am relieved. Thanks marnetmar!

I a, not getting this message with any CS that I have installed, but sometimes, when I am creating and testing a new model for one of my own sets, I get the same error message, so I go back and check my settings in the importer for any silly errors, and it uselly has something to do with my texture files, either they are not index colour or they are not 8 bit or something silly like that, but sometimes, all the settings are correct so i delete that item and redo it and it works..... drives me potty

Well, most confusion probably stems from the fact that this thread is half a year old and a lot of its contents are not true anymore. Read the stickies and threads that were started more recently. All custom scenery that is linked in the list sticky is wild compatible. If you get the no sid for svd error for all items in a set there is only one reason: you installed it wrong.
