Trinity Islands... That's a RCT1 scenario incase you didn't know. Can't see much yet. You sure you shouldn't have done more before posting this up?

Uries: Yes I know its a RCT1 scenario this on the 3D version map but with more of the land owned....what you can see in these screens is actually on one of the islands that wasnt owned in RCT1. I did a few little things ages ago but it seems like ages since I got chance to play RCT.
okay onto an update...

An aerial view of the Temple of Neptune ( I still havent decided whether the coaster will be called that). The coaster itself is a wild mine coaster and drops vertically into a tunnel before passing through a loop, barrel roll and a series of tight turns within the temple itself.

And of the vertical drop round the back..
..Please note that this is a WIP and this does not reflect the general look of the finished ride..however most of the temple theming is done I have not yet built the station/queue line and have not put in the vegetation
Not sure when the next update will be cya later

Update.....
In the ancient world many beleived that the greek empire stretched only as far as north africa, europe and the middle east...however some early settlers found their way beyond the pillars of hercules and to a tropical paradise. Here they erected a temple to almighty Neptune for allowing their safe journey across the seas to their new home. Neptune was pleased and the civilation flourished, until the settlers came across the strange indigeneous, cannibal population. Who attacked the greeks laying waste to their settlements. Neptune was furious and wiped out the entire indigeneous popoulation, he then placed his best soldier at his temple to ensure that no-one who set foot in his temple would leave alive! The temple has lain dormant since then....until now!

Theres only one way out, through the tunnel under the main wall

I hate to say this but the buildings look blocky now... Try use some more curved edges or eyecandy.

Uries: I see what you mean, the front of the temple where the coaster pulls out of the tunnel looks bland..I think im going to extend the roof outwards and drop some pillars down there like on the other temple, and maybe hide the side of the loop temple with more foliage.
Anyway I havent stopped Im just back at uni again! And my laptop doesnt have a graphics card that can handle RCT3...But as of friday im home for the summer so the park will start to come along then. Anyway you can expect a video of Neptune: Wrath of the gods sometime early next week, and work will also start on Cariba Cove's other major attraction....The Temple of Tlaloc

What is this second major attraction.... still atlantis theme or are we moving to another island?

It was going to be an atlantis themed rapids ride but i just cant fit one long enough onto the island so thats gone down the pan...Im thinking a water coaster now becasue of the ability to use the tight turns and still get the water ride feel

Water coasters don't work right unless it's a darkride XD. Isn't there a massive stretch of land of to the left of the island? Can't you extend the island or is it in a certain shape?

This water ride has been a pain...
Uries: there is an island there but Ive got plans for that one.
Anyway I have a giant flume in place and once its got the custom supports in there will be some shots...The layout is loosely based on Atlantica Supersplash

Im pretty happy with it at the moment and it should be finished theme and all by the end of next week

View down the drop at the rockpool...the flume then rises over an airtime bump carrying a surprising amount of speed before splashing down under the bridge
Anyway thats all for now...I should have the area complete soon and then work will start on the area near the entrance which will be called Trinity Harbour

Well Trinity Bay is a nightmare to create but I have got some updates...there is little or no theming but the layout of Throttle (a Vekoma Booster Bike) and the harbour bridge are pretty much done..

looks good... but what kind of graphic card do you have
UpTheClarets17
05-21-2006, 12:00 PM
its an Nvidia GeForce III Ti 200....The graphics card can run the game at full spec but Ive only got 384MB RAM so I have to turn the graphics down to help with the lag...
They are usually higher than that but I recently downloaded a huge park that was very very laggy and I had to reduce them for that.
I'll make sure they are back up to the top for the next update

Sorry for the double post but Im going on holiday for 2 weeks so Trinity Islands is being put on hold... Its about time aswell as Im really not enjoying this at the moment hence the lack of updates.. There will be a huge update as soon as Im back with Trinity bay complete and the begginings of a dark ride...inspiration for which I hope will come while abroad...
