Hi all!

I've been very busy this winter with work and life in general and it looks like this will continue for a while longer. But RCT3 still holds my heart deeply and I will continue to come up with new attractions for you all- just a bit slower than I used to.

Coming soon will be a series of new starter maps for you to download and use to begin new parks. Som of the maps will have scenario objectives, but most will be simply landscaped plots of land for you to build on.

There will be a few special ones, too, using custom scenery sets to produce a few starter buildings and whatever tickles my fancy at the time. Take a look at what I'm working on now:

Above is a shot of the main entrance to Heartland Park taken some time ago. The original design had guests follow the grand promanade past the towering Roman columns and into the town square. From there, guests could wonder around the Adventure land section or take a short gondola ride to the other side of the park and go for a swim or catch one of the exciting roller coasters.

Looking back from the gondola we see a better shot of the entrance and the beginnings of Adventureland off to the left. The Great Zipper Dipper had just been completed and was in testing when this shot was taken.

The Gondola ride takes you from the entrance to the opposite side of the park, where it terminates in a small shopping center and food court, which overlooks Heartland Lake. From the Food court and gift shops guests can enter an aquarium as well as stroll under the lake to see the local aquatic wildlife as well as some exotic specimens that have been stocked in the lake.

More on the development of this park will come later...

Kee101: I hope that I can get it released in a week or two, I'm still deciding on if I should release it with all the rides in place- but aged to broken down-ness or if I will delete the rides, leaving just coaster stations and concrete slabs where they were.

The idea behind this particular map was to rebuild and improve upon an old amusement park. I'm not planning any objectives or other scenario stuff, though I might add some. It will be unlimited cash in scenario mode in any event, so you can play it as a sandbox park in that mode.

Here's some more pictures:

The Main Street Mall has a couple of enclosed rides as well as a tram station and gift/food shops. More had been planned on the opposite side of the street, but I think you'll get your hands on this park before it can be built.

A quick update before I go off to bed: The map will include a nice little indoor go-kart track set inside an old mill or factory styled building. Take a look:

OMG! That almost looks like the park you used in Midsummer Nightmare (the undestroyed version of the park that is)
