Hey everyone. As some of you know, my cougar decided to crap out on me last weekend so Im kinda looking for a new car. I am looking for either new or slightly used *one to two year old* cars. I want a midsize to full size sedan. The cars I was looking at today were the Mazda 6, Ford Five hundred limited, Pontiac Grand Prix GXP, and a Nissan Maxima SE. I was wondering what kind of input everyone could give me on these cars and also other suggestions are welcome. I would love an WRX or EVO but kinda need more room. Thanks guys.

The Maxima is an amazing car I would pick it over the others... My girlfriend drives a 2005 Acura TL and it is very nice. If you can afford it, check it out as well.

The MazdaSpeed 6 is great, but they're a little high on the Used market. The Altima SE-R is also good choice, but I haven't seen any used around here.
I'd go for anything Nissan. Pretty well made. I'd say Toyota, but all they're "affordable" sedans seem small imo, and the other ones look more than they're worth.
Def. look into used BMW 3 Series sedans. Safe cars, very good on reliability, and the old used models from the E36 gen, or 1st model E46s look great.

I love how the TL looks just thought it was alittle out of my pricerange. As for the mazdaspeed 6, i was kinda looking into driving to Des Moines to look at one. I live in a city of around 150,000 people but the mazda dealer doesnt carry the speed 6's here.
As for BMWs, Koenig do you have any idea what some of the newer models run for?

They start at $30,900 and that begins with the 325i sedan.
The new 3 Series Coupe just came out though, but they're probably not going to get cheap their first few months.

I'd go with the Maxima, I love that car. I'm a big Nissan fan though.

Im not that big of a Nissan fan but they are growing on me. All I hear is great reviews on the Titan, and I love the styling of a 350Z. The Maxima has always caught my eye, but after driving one, I love them even more. All depends on the $$$s.

I've loved the Maxima ever since the 1986 one I got from my grandfather. He took immaculate care of it, and when I picked it up it had 45000 miles on it. Leather seats, sunroof, great engine, great sound system. I loved that car.

My parents have an altima, pretty much the same engeniring as the Maxima and its been a great car. It runs awesome and does good milage considering the 4-cylinder 2.4, now the 3.5 6-cylinder im not very familiar with, but it shouldent do that bad.

Check out the Subaru Legacy 2.5GT. It's in your price range, plus it's bigger than the Evo/STi, and quicker than a WRX. Interior is miles ahead of the Impreza's.
