Whats the difference?

What do you think the difference is between the japanese version and the english version of Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2? Do you think there is material included in the japanese version that we can't get here in the states? Is there censorship involved, preventing us from seeing the true version because the guys in the big seats don't want our youth "exposed" to the blood and violence, drug use, ect. Or are the two games exactly identical? Please tell me what you think?

Well, what I've noticed when playing any Budokai on the PS2 and then playing the greatest hits or GC version, there is more features in it. So what I'm guessing is Tenkaichi 2 in america will have less features until the greatest hits version comes out.

With the exception of the textual language, both versions of the original Budokai Tenkaichi were indentical in virtually everyway. And like the first installment, both games will see a simultaneously release in North America and Japan. That said, I'd expect that both versions of Budokai Tenkaichi 2 will be pretty much the same.

Well I heard there were 100 character in Japan's version. We only got 90.

There is not much but every single time you see Professor Briefs in the manga or anime you see a cigarette hanging from his lip. When you play Budokai 1 and you see him in the "how to" page and see its not there but it is a part of his character so in the japanese version it might have been there but I can't tell you for certain because I never played the japanese version. But there is drug use in the series.

well im not sure about the games but, when u read/watch the jap. versions of dbz they us bad language, nudity, drugs ext. but when it comes to america they take that out cause of the little kids that watch the show, as for the game i agree with Ny_realwheelman, the cover, music, menus, but i also think they might have some language in it, but ive never played a jap. version of a dbz game so i wouldnt no.

I'm guessing the japanesse version will have minor cursing like "damn you" and such, and the american version won't, because mother's across america get their panties in a wad when Vegeta tells Kakarot to "go to hell"

The Japanese version won't have more stuff.

The reason the Budokai games got more stuff was because they came out later in japan then in america, so they decided they needed more.

Since Japan gets it first, there won't be any differece between the versions. Except for some language changing, but that comes with dubbing and we get to have the japanese voice overs anyway, so that doesn't matter.
