View Full Version : Lightz Expansion or Not?

Halloa, its DRP. No, I wasn't dead; nor did I abandon you. I was wondering, do any of you want an expansion for the Lightz set? Because I have been hearing some problems with it, like that certain lights don't show up or something. I was going to make the set into actual "lights" (some attached to ceiling, floor, walls) to make it more realistic, but I am not sure if the community wants that. I want to get this thing out of the way first, if it seems as if an expansion is needed. If you have any suggestions, post them here as well. There is a poll, vote on it.

I think an expansion would be fine, maybe you could add more "types" of the lights, so that we can choose between a bright, normal and dark variant, or something like that.

DRP- I was thinking of a light set myself- I've got a couple in my infrastruture set now, but I was thinking of different streetlamps and sting-of-bulb lamps for coasters and to stretch over open areas and such. I have some models in the works- If I make the OVL base files, would you be interested in adding light to them? maybe you can share your knowledge of the co-ordinates, too (though I think I figures out the a value of 1= half an RCT3 grid square, though I haven't figured out which way is +/- X and +/- Z yet...)

When you make the actual light structures, is there a possibility to make them in two different forms, one with lighting that turns on and off with the day/night cycle, and then just the light post as a scenery piece that doesn't have a light element?

I'd say yes to more lights DRP, we can always use more/different lights for the game.
