I've had a lot of things going on with life in general lately, but work is progressing on my Leftoverz2 theme.

I have some new rocks props done, just need to do a little resizing/tweaking on them (no pics). I do have a couple of pics of some other stuff that's more or less completed.

For those of you that want to build a restaurant & have some music inside for the peeps, well here you go, a jukebox that works as a speaker ;)

There will also be some new flowers, trees, etc. in this pack. Some of the textures aren't cooperating real good at the moment, but they'll be ok by release time ;)

AWESOME!!! That jukebox looks like the one in my gameroom. But ours has bubble pipes around the edge. I can't wait for this! The bushes and flowers look great too! Thanks! Are the flowers able to be raised up to be used in the trackbeds as planters?

Hey, this sounds sweet, your last Leftoverz Pack was amazing! Just one request though...

I noticed with your rock props that you had one offset one. You had one that fit on the tile and one that fit on the tile edge...so, is there anyway you could make one more style of the old rock props on the corner of a tile and do all three for the new ones? It'd had a whole lot more flexibility than already provided...just a small request.

I love the jukebox! And the foliage is looking pretty decent, but like you said, I'm sure it will be perfect!

This is looking great! It'd be awesome if you made some overgrowth-type plants that we could put under trees and in forests to make things a lot more realistic. ;)

Thanks everybody, I'm glad to see so much excitement over this set. There will also be some new trees, once I can get the textures working properly. Changing them to 8 bit bmp files really hoses some of them.

Are the flowers able to be raised up to be used in the trackbeds as planters?

I hadn't thought about it, but they'll be able to be used for that. I just saved them as flower type props, but I'll change it to a regular small prop so they can be used with the trackbeds set.

I love the foliage very much, maybe if you add two diagonal layers with the same texture, they will look thicker. I hope you understand what I mean. :)

Once I get the textures fixed I can make them thicker (more layers), these are more just testing at the moment. Also the way they are right now, you could simply add another prop & rotate it 1 time to make "thicker" foliage ;)

Looking like this is going to be a very nice pack. Looks like another scenery maker figured out alpha textures. Good luck with the plants, they should be a nice addition, and the test ones already look good so I am sure they will even look better finished. Can’t wait to see what else you have up your sleeve for this set.

Actually I figured out the alpha textures quite awhile back, but for some reason that I still haven't figured out, they didn't always work for me before.

Love it! Cave entrance looks great (that's the one I saw in another thread weeks back) and the new boulders will be right up there with the others -- used in many parks (where's MikeCya?) ! Looking forward to "ML2" (I like how it sounds abbreviated!). :up:

It all looks great but I have one request, why not create the cave entrance into three bits, so we can make it as large as we want, just like Klinns’ frameworks.

For organizational purposes, will I be able to take the pieces from the MNM Leftoverz2 pack and put them in the MNM Leftoverz1 folder? Or will it crash because of some kind of internal data thing?

I really like what I've seen so far, really exited about the cave thing, becouse I dont have wild/soaked, and with this cave thing is looks like I'm going to have more options for tunnels than the rock you had in pack 1, yay!:D

skippytim - I'm not sure exactly what all will be in this, I have some ideas for things, but some of them may or may not work, so I don't want to say until I know for sure.

LTT - I might see if that's possible, but with the current model it won't work.

kylr23 - I'm not going to be making any broken track pieces, maybe sometime in the future someone will make those.

-NGS- - This will be a seperate set & won't be added to the first set.

VIPERHAWK2K4 - The new rocks are a bit large right now, but I'm going to resize them before release. The big ones are good in a way, but kind of hard to place near tracks, etc.

I got the tunnel resized for covering the hole the game makes when you go into the terrain, I think the size is just about right.

I'm not sure you undertand what I meant. I was talking about downloading the seperate pack, then taking the ovl files and putting them in the leftoverz1 folder, so they would all be together on my computer and not everyone else's.

This is a seperate set & will have to be put into the game seperately from the first set. If you were to put them together it would cause errors.

I'll keep checking on this thread, but I won't be updating any info/pics until release of the set.

When I was working on the first Leftoverz set & posted pics of the tables, ride signs & umbrellas within a week there were suddenly about 3 other people that just decided to make tables, ride signs & umbrellas also & I can see the same thing happening again.

It's too bad that with so many ideas/requests in the request thread that some people can't either use some of those ideas or just use their own imagination to come up with something new on their own.

I am sorry if you though I was copying you with the caves, but I have been tossing ideas around and creating test models for that set since about a month ago (during my absence) and I had even made some in game pieces. Are you mad at me???

Any news on this set?? After making a stink about other modders stepping on your feet with similar sets, we've not heard as much of a peep from you about this one. I'm really looking forward to set with rock and cave objects, and since the other (forget who's) closed shop, how about delivering some goods. :p

I don't plan on any "major" type updates until the set is released. For now, I will say all the rocks will have the option of being used as speakers & there's a few other suprises in the works, provided things go as planned.

Looks good Marnetmar. I love the cover the the tunnle entrance.

Could you please, please, please take the rocks from your origional Leftoverz pack and scale them down into two or three different sizes and play with the possitioning a bit and release them in this pack. I know it might be a bit much to ask for, but your rocks from your last pack where perfect and I would love smaller versions to create tunnles that where where not so huge on the out side. :noob:

This sounds very nice, I'm a huge fan of your original pack and this one will be even better, I hope!! And can you maybe make speaker versions of the original rocks, because I'm sorry to say, but these rocks don't look as nice, but I'm still eagerly awaiting them.

Yeah, that´ll be great. Shouldn´t it be easy to just resize the original rocks (half size or so)?

You just assign the sid file that Jonwil extracted from the game to the ovl file & it works like the in game speakers.

This is still in the works, but I have no idea on a release date, the last couple of weeks & probably at least the next couple, maybe more I've been working 8-10 hours a day 6 days a week, so I don't have much time or energy to do much on this set.

I am soo looking foward to this set - especially those flowers look awesome. Is there a chance you would ever make a small tutorial on flowers and plants? I think especially flowers are so limited in the game, so it would be great if we could get more customer scenery ones.

I'm hoping to get the texture issue with the flowers/trees figured out, so that I can add a bunch of them to this set. Hopefully when I have more time for testing some ideas I'll get that worked out.

If/when I get the texture problem fixed, it'll be easy for anyone else to add their own flowers/trees to the game.

Excellent jukebox and flowers! I'm gonna suggest using the set with the Universe of Energy set that I'll be doing later on next year. The flowers would look good in the floral title diorama.

I love those cave tunnels, too.

I´d love to see this set finished, the first set was incredible (esp. the rocks), I used it a lot. Seeing the first impressions of the new flowers & plants I was really excited... ;) Very sad that the second set is abandoned (or should I keep my fingers crossed? :) )...

I am also hoping that Marnetmar will find enough spare time between a hectic work schedule and real life to complete this. I think his 1st Leftoverz set is one of the most popular set around. The rocks from that set are in almost every other park shown on the forums. I just can't help but think that we all could use some more Marnetmar magic.
