Attention: this list is no longer going to be updated. The new one, managed by errt, can be found here (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=549086).

This is a complete list of all released scenery. Scenery creators are arranged in alphabetical order and so is their work. Please, note that it is the “grab it!” links that lead to the most up-to-date version of each set. No direct links are provided here, because I believe that it is more important to link to a forum thread instead, so that any problems arising from each set can be addressed there. Even though this list may be updated on a regular basis (at least once per week), a list of updates (to be posted before the main list) will be updated once per month only. I will be most grateful if you notify me (either in this thread or through a private message) of new sets that are hard to spot, especially if they are part of a park thread, since I don’t frequent that board that much. Last, but not least, it would be a great idea if people posted on this thread notifying of links (found in this list) directing to broken download links, so that the custom sets in question could be hosted elsewhere.

Note that this is a list of custom scenery that has been released. For works in progress, check out rctmaniac's excellent WIP Scenery-New List of In Progress Scenery (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=528988)

Custom Scenery Lists
Before proceeding to the main list, I think you should be aware of these sites which host a custom scenery list and which you might find easier to navigate through than this one:
- CSO Database (http://cso.rct-net.de/)
- RCT-3.ORG (Rollercoaster-Tycoon Fansite) (http://www.rct-3.org/cso/index.php?sid=)

Custom Scenery Hosts
In addition to the lists mentioned above, the following sites provide alternative download links of numerous custom scenery sets. If no working download links can be found in the threads and posts that you are directed to in the main list, these are the places in which you should look for additional links.
- Custom Scenery List at RCT-World Forum (http://www.rct-world.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9284) - that is the equivalent of this list in that German forum, where some of the links provided lead directly to a custom scenery download
- Hosted RCT3 Objects at RCT Revalutions (http://www.rctrevalutions.com/forums/index.php?showforum=175)
- Mods To the Max (http://modstothemax.net/community/) - (free) registration is required; from the main page, go to "Downloads", to be found under the title "Content" on the left column, and then to "RCT3 Theme Sets" under (obviously) "Roller Coaster Tycoon 3"
- RCT3 - CSO :: Downloads (http://errt.ebytehost.com/phpBB2/downloads.php) - (free) registration is required. If, after following this link, you cannot enter the site logged in, from the page it redirects you after logging in go to "CSO - Downloads", to be found under "Board Navigation" in the right column, and then to CSO-Downloads; or, from the same page you are redirected to after logging in, simply press "Downloads" at the top of the site (next to the green arrow).
- Universe of Rct3:::: (http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/trurl_pagecontent?lp=fr_en&trurl=http%3a%2f%2fn.weiss.free.fr%2fuor%2fv4%2findex.php%3ffile%3dDownload%26op%3dcategorie%26cat%3d6%26orderby%3dnews%26p%3d1)
- Virtual-Coaster :::: Database of Virtuals rollercoasters (http://battor.77.free.fr/indexrct3/download.php?page=1&jeu=rct3&type=objets) - a French site hosting the work of two custom scenery creators only, Battor77 and cacheuxi (Lulujarre)
- Vodhin's Community Pages: Downloads / Custom Objects (http://www.vodhin.net/RCT3Community/download.php?list.3)

Complete List of Custom Scenery

By Aceana:
1. Aceana ROCKS! v. 1.3 (grab it! (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=512933)) - download the set from this post (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=7482735#post7482735), if you encounter problems with the first download
2. Aceana's ACCENTS V 1.0 (grab it! (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=525881))
3. Aceana's Pavement Essentials Expansion Pack #1 - COLOR (grab it! (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=547005)) - this set does not replace the old ones, but is an improvement on and can work together with them. Even though Aceana has stated that you could delete the old ones, there are still some pieces in the latter that do not exist in the expansion pack; moreover, you will need the old ones in order to view parks, scenarios, structures and rides built with them
4. Aceana's Pavement ESSENTIALS Packs 1 and 2 (grab them! (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=530394)) - this (http://www.rctrevalutions.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=3834) is the new thread at RCT Revalutions which hosts these packs; the links to the two RCT Revalutions threads found in the original post no longer work

By Antrolla:
1. Atari Statue (Small, Medium, Large) (grab it! (http://www.vodhin.net/RCT3Community/download.php?view.361)) - the set was originally announced in this post (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=8139120#post8139120)

By AvA:
1. Bridge Constuction Set V 1.0 (grab it! (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=546009))

By Battor77:
1. Disneyland Studio France (Disney Studio Pack) v. 0.46 (grab it! (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=489032))
2. Speakers Pack (Pack Enceintes) v. 0.5 (grab it! (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=495195))
3. Spotlight Pack (Pack Projecteurs) (grab it! (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=489613))
4. Travaux (grab it! (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=517327))

By Belgabor:
1. Asia Wall Set 01 v.1 (most textures and icons by RCT-Spanky) (grab it! (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=542688))
2. Belgabor's Snowset 01 v1 Beta (grab it! (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=533737))

By cacheuxi (Lulujarre):
1. America (grab it! (http://battor.77.free.fr/dl.php?id=511))
2. Bob l' éponge (grab it! (http://battor.77.free.fr/dl.php?id=755))
3. Chateau Magique (grab it! (http://battor.77.free.fr/dl.php?id=580))
4. Chateau Magique v2 (set 2) (grab it! (http://n.weiss.free.fr/uor/v4/index.php?file=Download&op=description&dl_id=277)) - even though this is version 2 of “Chateau Magique”, Lulujarre has left both versions for downloading from the main page of "Virtual-Coaster", because “Chateau Magique v2 (set 2)” does not replace the castle found in “Chateau Magique”. Moreover, due to problems dealing with the large castle of this set experienced by some people, including myself and Lulujarre, Lulujarre has a new version uploaded in the link provided above (at "Univers Of Rct3"), which contains only the other two versions of the castle. "Virtual-Coaster" has still the old version of Chateau Magique v2 (set 2), that is, with a third large version of the castle (link (http://battor.77.free.fr/dl.php?id=695)). It couldn't be explained at the time the set was made publicly available (read from this post onwards (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=7473490#post7473490) to understand), but it is now pretty much established that, once the shadows are turned off in the game, any large object can be placed without crashes (read from here onwards (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=7895951#post7895951)).
5. Pirates of the Caribbean (sets 1 and 2) (grab it! (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=535535))
6. Rock\'n\'rollercoaster (grab it! (http://battor.77.free.fr/dl.php?id=562))

8. Star Wars (grab it! (http://battor.77.free.fr/dl.php?id=517))
9. Toons (grab it! (http://battor.77.free.fr/dl.php?id=526))
10. Walt Disney Objets (grab it! (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=528793))

By Caederus:
1. Drehkreuze / Turnstiles (grab it! (http://errt.ebytehost.com/phpBB2/downloads.php?view=detail&id=80)) - (free) registration is required; if you cannot reach the page from the above link despite being logged in RCT3 - CSO, from its home page (http://www.rct3-cso.net.tc/) (and after you register) go to "CSO - Downloads", to be found under "Board Navigation" in the right column, and then to CSO-Downloads > Caederus > Drehkreuze / Turnstiles. This (http://www.rct-3.org/forum/thread.php?threadid=7725) is a (German) thread created by Der Freak 00 at RCT-3.ORG, where an additional download link can be found.

Furthermore, there is a problem with the latest download, which is explained from this post onwards (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=7483824#post7483824), but this is easily fixed by clicking OK when the error message appears, or simply pressing Space Bar or Enter when the loading screen stops

Nice list apet08!

I would suggest placing at the top of the list spots for "New This Month" and "New Last Month" each have a listing of new packs released...this might help people easily find the latest releases, and could be in addition to adding them to the alphabetical listing you set up (great idea BTW!)

At the end of the month you just remove all the "New Last Month" listings and change the "New This Month" to "New Last Month".

This is a lot of work on your part...I appreciate your doing it. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.

Every custom scenery set is compatible with both Soaked! and Wild! Actually, there has never been any problem with Soaked!, only with Wild!, but jonwil, at the time when Wild! came out, updated all the sets that had not been updated by their respective makers. So, there is no need to specify which set is updated, since all of them are.

Thank you (and all the scenery makers) for making it!

Thanks everybody for your nice words. I have a request, however: as you can see, there are two sets (Flaggen-Set v.1.0 by Eviron and TMUL Wall Set by Park Novice) which cannot be found anywhere in the web. Would it be possible for anyone to host them somewhere permanently (other than Rapidshare)? I know that these sets may not be widely used, but I think it's a shame that, out of more than a hundred sets, these two are the only ones that cannot be found anywhere.

As you can see, there are two lists at the top of the main one, "New or Updated This Month" (in green) and "New or Updated Last Month" (in orange). Since there is no way to point directly to a new or updated scenery pack inside the main list, I thought that highlighting them in the corresponding colours in the main list for as long as these packs remain in the first two lists would make it easier for people to find scenery sets from the last two months.

To Jag100 and khmaster: this is a list of completed and uploaded scenery packs only. There is already a pinned thread for custom scenery in progress. Once your packs are released, rest assured that they will be included in this list.

Can I make a suggestion? All the packs in the New or Updated this Month and Last Month dont have a link attached to them-should they? At the moment you have to look in the Updated bit then scroll down to find it, it would be better if it just had a link

I think that if I put a link in the lists, I will have to post all the explanations I give in the main list. Some scenery sets don't need any, but sets like Aceana ROCKS! v. 1.3 by Aceana or Expedition Everest by Disfan1, for example, certainly need the explanation provided in the main list. If I do that, don't you think that it would be more difficult to go through the first two lists, as they would resemble the main one? It's not much work on my part, as it is a matter of copy paste, so that's not an issue. The way things are now, the first two lists act as an index for the main one, where the information needed is provided. What do others think about it?

rctmaniac, the problem is that, as I have said, some sets require more than a simple link; sometimes an explanation or additional links need to be given. If I omit those in the first two lists, many people (those that will not go through the main list) will be unnecessarily confused. So my question remains: if the first two lists get filled with all the information that is found in the main one, would (you) people want that, or would the first two lists seem too bulky to use?

@Dkimber - Circle Blocks (grab it from post #22 of this thread) - link doesn't work

Thanks for pointing that out. I have checked all of Dkimber1974's links and, with the exception of Dawn's Ride Sign Sets 1 and 2, the rest cannot be found anywhere. I have logged in Rct Revalutions where Dkimber1974's subforum, where all these creations could be found, does not exist, at least for the moment. Maybe they are in the middle of changing the site and this is only temporary, or Dkimber1974 wants to update those sets and give us new versions of them. Naturally I have all of them, but I cannot upload them without Dkimber1974's permission.

[EDIT] Having checked Rct Revalutions more thoroughly, I've come across this announcement by Riven3d: "In Process of changing some things around, in the process ive had to take several of the forums offline, because images and links will be broken on them. as a section gets completed it will be put back online.

Please bare with us over the next few days as this is done.

Ty all."

It seems that the broken links will only temporarily be so, which means that I was a bit too hasty in filling the list with those red warnings. Nevertheless, I won't remove them until I make sure that the links are working again (or someone else notifies me of it, in case I am too late or too lazy to ckeck).

Speaking of broken links, I would like to remind you of the two sets I mentioned in post #18 of this thread, for which a working link is still missing. Is anyone willing to host them anywhere (with their creators' permission, of course)?

Sorry this action was taken because of the drastic bandwith increase.

That's aproblem that you should think about, when you start a site. It's not just "Hey we have opened the best RCT ... and we have tons of downloads". We have seen so many sites gone with the same problem since RCT1 was released.

Every download produce traffic, and traffic is that, what the hosting companies make their money with. You could look for a new server with unlimited traffic and a lot of webspace.

If you're a Custom Scenery Designer (no matter if you make objects for RCT3 or RCT2), you should ask the well-known sites like RCT2.com or RCT*Mart, if they can host the files for you. Both sites are online since years and a lot of RCT-Artists has host their objects on this servers. Apart from that all CSO-artists should give their permissions, that one or two special sites can host any object on their servers (maybe together with a database). Database-Site Owners should also not forget, that every visit on their sites produce again traffic.

riven3d
09-03-2006, 09:54 PM
show you how much you have been around rct2.com is rctspace.com now and they will not host anything, you can ask rct mart, but i doubt they will do anything.

rctmaniac, just one question concerning your sets: at RCT3 - CSO one can also get your older Spheres and Cylinders sets. Should I add them to the list? Are they really made redundant because of your Modularz set, or are those pieces somehow different from those found in the latter and, therefore, an alternative that DOES make a difference? I was thinking of checking this out myself, but I guess I was too lazy to re-download them and find out on my own.

errt

As site admin you should convert them to the most space-efficient format available and not make them take up more space because people can't use unpack programs ;)

Unfortunately the problem with PhiWie's Recolorable Fence remains the same; I can see it in-game only if I change my 'Language for non-Unicode programs' setting in the Control Panel to English. There doesn't seem to be a problem with the naming of the set (unless it's the apostrophe used: "PhiWie's Recolorable Fence" is what I used for this message based on my English keyboard, while "PhiWie´sRecolorable Fence v.0.2" is what I get when I extract the file), so I give up. I'll just put the set in the list. I think it would be a good idea to have a separate thread on this set created by PhiWie or, if PhiWie doesn't speak English, by errt, so that other users might give feedback and eventually (if possible) find out what goes wrong. At this point my only other comment is that it would be a good idea to make it a wall, like it was in version 0.1, rather than a fence, for reasons that have been stated many times elsewhere, but that is a less important issue than the naming of the set.

errt
