SOME of the custom themeing don't work. :(

Some of the custom themeing I download don't work in the game. It's in there but when I click it the game freezes and I have to restart my pc over and over again. Like for example... I download many of SHYGUY's themeing packs but none of theme won't work in my game because it just freezes when I click on it. I really want to use his themeing packs. Is there a way to fix this? :(

Make sure the scenery works with your version of the game. For instance, if you have 'Soaked!' and 'Wild!' installed with the original, you can only download scenery compatible with the latest expansion packs. If the scenery is the right version, the file might have been corrupted durring the download proccess. Try downloading again. If all else fails contact Shyguy and ask him to fix the problem.

As far as I know, everything has been updated for use with Wild & should work with RCT3, Soaked & Wild.

Make sure you installed them right as well. Many of them have an extra nesting layer in the folder that has to be removed.

I think that it was the Expo 3000 set or Mainstreet Theme 2. Either way, make sure that each folder within Style\themed has does not have another folder with the same name inside of it. Apparently that happens often.

Those themeing sets look incredible but I don't know how to fix this. :( I have RCT3, Soaked!, and Wild! installed. Although I have never downloaded any patches for the game. Not even one... :downcast:

You should get the patches for RCT3 Wild... It might solve a lot of problems, not sure aboutthe custom stuff, but it might help some of that too... :)

You don't need a patch. You just haven't installed them correctly. Check the scenery folders and make sure the name of the folder is exactly the same as the folder inside.

Example...

Under the "Themed" directory, you should have a folder that says "Shy-Main Street Set." Inside, there should be another folder with the exact same name, and 2 files. If, the first folder is called "Shy-Main_Street_Set" then is won't work. You have to remove the "_"s and replace them with regular spaces.

Also, if you have too many folders, you have to remove the extra folder.

So...You should have 1 folder that has another folder inside it, along with 2 files. Click on the folder that's inside, and you'll see all the rest of the files.
