I get an error message when I try to use custom scenery, this isn't the first time.

I am trying to use Pumper's Steelworx, and I get the following error:

A small dialogue box pops up and is titled beam_vertical:sid and contains the message No :svd for :sid and RCT3 closes.

Now, I downloaded the file and extracted its contents to my desktop. After I opened the file on my desktop, I moved the contents of the folder to: C:\Program Files\Atari\Roller Coaster Tycoon 3\Style\Themed\J Cat's SteelWorx

Including the style.common.ovl and style.unique.ovl that was in the file.

I hope that made sense!

(Quick Recap)
1) Downloaded File
2) Extracted Contents to desktop
3) Went into folder, and then into the folder contained within that folder, and moved all the .ovl files into the \Style\Themed\J Cat's SteelWorx including the style.common.ovl and style.unique.ovl files.
4) I loaded the game and went to use the scenery, but it gave me the error and the game closed.

I have followed all the guides I could find, all to no avail.

i had the problem to
look at this:
when you have downloaded it, you must place it in style/themed
when you see the explorer it says
C:/Program Files/Atari/Rollercoastertycoon3/Style/Themed
double click on the scenery wich you have problems with
then you see a map with the same name
the explorer says:
C:/Program Files/Atari/Rollercoastertycoon3/Style/Themed/Scenery/Scenery
(scenery is an example)
the second Scenery is de sub-folder
you must cut the sub-folder and paste it on your desktop
then go back to the first Scenery folder
you must delete it and then go back to your desktop
cut the folder and paste it in Style/Themed!

hope it wasn't to confusing :bulb:

this WILL help

If I extract it straight to Themed, won't that leave a nested file there? Because I extracted it straight to themed before and got the same error.

Well, extracting the files straight to \themed worked (but not the first time *awkwawrd*)

At any rate, the custom scenery is working.
