Going the wrong way!?

Why is it that in the last Driver, you could swim yet you cant in this one? Isnt that going the wrong way? Why did they do this?!?!

On another note, could someone please mark on the map where the police station is please and if there is a hospital and firestation could you mark them to. I have only see 2 fire engines through the whole game and i've completed it!

DPL took many things out from what Driv3r had. But the most reasons is for to get you back in the car, Kid. DPL is all about getting you in the car and drive like a maniac. It's in Driv3r they focused more on Tanner and what he can do other than that the game is about Driving. :p

Frankly DPL is what is going the right way. if you think about it...

and Comaro. I totally understand what you mean i just think that they havent just taken stuff out but they havent put anything really new in as far as the driving experience is concerned. I think they could have maby gave you something else to work for. The whole game seems a bit, empty. Its still a great game though.

You're just not looking, man. There is plenty of side jobs to do- events and happenings going around the city. Try the demolition survival in the Bronx. I love that side mission. It gives a adrinaline-rush, smash em up experince! :D Start car chases with the cops, etc. DPL is the bomb. You just got to look a little closer. ;)

It isn't all that. The mini games are boring after about 2 times and the cop chases don't last long enough because the cops are stupid and can't keep up and there isn't enough cops chasing you. It would have been better if the cops were like they are in NFS MW that's a kick ass game for cop chases. DPL sucks full stop, it's to boring. Well anyways thats my opinion and if you like the game, that's good, i guess its just not for everyone.

Maybe you're to good of a driver. The cops can't catch your ass. Although, I like losing the cops every so often and start a chase back up later. The game is fun to play, for me.

If you want longer police chases, take a slower car & piss off the cops as much as you can :D
Or you could take a saxon or similar :)

Never? I usually loose the cops, sooner or later anyway.
Only irritating moment is the helicopter, sometimes.
