Hi-
I've had this game and both expansion packs since they first came out. One day I was browsing the internet and happened to bump into this site. All the parks looked so cool, and they really inspired me. After a while of looking I decided to join and this is my first post!:D
I have been working on this park for the last few days and I thought I needed some comments. It is called Atlantica (name will almost certainly change:noob: ) and is based on an ocean-type theme...
This image shows the front gardens and part of the large entrance building.

That's all for now but more to come soon
Oh, I now this question has already been asked a million times, but how do you make screenshot tags as opposed to image tags?
thx:haha:

use ['SCREENSHOT]....['/SCREENSHOT] instead of ['IMG] ... ['/IMG]
Note do not include the ' as I did. (its needed to show you the text)

Kind of bulky...

Matandmel05: I know, it's something that i have to improve in my next park:( . BTW, I don't think that you you will be able to see the bulkiness that well if you were standing from the ground.
Anyway, just a small update and some night shots;) ...

wel, I'll tell you one thing. It's better than my first park. In fact, it's pretty much just as good as my current park!!

obi_wan_cannoli: This isn't actually my first park-it's just my first that I've shared on the web.
skippytim: ThX:D!!
On to the update-
I've decided to build a water park named Laguna Beach on the left side of the entrance gardens. I have started the food court for the water park. Also, a new ride has been added by Neptune's Lair.

Not bad-too blocky but apart from that its good! My building tip is use scenery from more than 1 pack TOGETHER

For those food courts, this might help you.

The tables add quite a bit of realism to any restaurant looking buildings.

TheodenKing: Thanks, these are great!!
rctmaniac: Thanks for the tip. I tried to use different scenery pieces on the entrance building, but it did't work out quite as I imagined:( . So here is my attepmt-

Do you think the roof needs some remodeling also??

I like your use of water. All you need is jets to liven it up :D

I love using water, skippytim:D
Anyway, there's no update at the moment, but there are going to be some changes to this part of the park. First of all, I am almost certain that Neptune's Lair will be scraped, though I will be saving the track design in case I find a good use for it in another section of the park. This area will an atlantis themed area with a few flat rides, a water ride, and a coaster or two. Second of all, the food court for Laguna Beach will be remodeled, thanks to RCT-Chessack's tutorial on modular building (here (http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=516573)). Last but not least, some of the buildings in the entrance are will be remodeled as well. I will be posting pictures later this afternoon, so keep your eyes out!!:D
EDIT:
The beginnings of the renovations are taking place.
Entrance building reburbishment is started.

New information/restrooms building. This is probably the best bulding I've ever made:up:, even though it doesn't look that impresive. I hope you like it.

I'm sorry this park seems to be moving slowly (:(), but I am loving all of your suggestions, and I am trying to use them to improve my park as much as I can;).
Any, and I mean ANY, comments are appreciated
Thanks
EDIT:
All of the buildings in this park have either been scraped, or scraped and replaced with a better building. I have started a new thread called Ocean City, so you can see the progress there.
