Hades

Steel
MF
Superman:ROS
Goliath (SFoG)

New
El Toro
The Voyage
Tatsu

Park
Cedar Point
Disneyland (anniversary)
Holiday World
The steels you have to figure MF and Superman will top as usual. Woods, well, who knows. New, There's so much buzz for The Voyage and Tatsu has to get major style points. As for parks, well, CP always wins, and Holiday World always rates high.

Gamemast, I think you're missing the mark here. This isn't supposed to be your personal choices for Golden Tickets, it's supposed to be our guesses for what will actually win. Of the 9 coasters I've listed, I have only ridden two of them. Of the parks, I've yet to get to Holiday World. My guesses are based on impressions and comments I heard during CoasterMania at Cedar Point. I also know from personal experience that Space Mountain, as much loved as it may be, is not a current Golden Ticket contender, neither is Racer, and NO wild mouse is likely ever to win one. It's unlikely as heck that SF Great America will be in the running, nor any other SF park because they just don't move people on and off rides fast enough. Sorry if I'm raining on your roses, maybe I'm nitpicking, but, take a look at what and why things have won Golden Tickets in the past. Cedar Point has become almost unbeatable, mostly because they move huge amounts of riders faster than almost any other park in the world combined with 16 different coasters.

Alpengeist, while this isn't as incendiery as Disneyland vs. Disney World, I'd lean more towards BGA (BGT) for it's collection of coasters. There's still only 4 in Williamsburg but 7 in Tampa. For scenery, I'd go with BGE(BGW), especially the "Rhine" river valley. I will also admit that the 4 coasters that are there are all excellent rides, even Nessie, which I underestimated.

Everyone underestimates Nessie. ;)
