Mine was on the very first run of the Riddler's Revenge at night. Looking at the 1st loop going up the lift hill at night is the most freakiest thing that scares me on that coaster.

Superman the Escape, when you are motionless on the spike.
Theres this ride called inverter and it flips you upside down while high in the air, and holds you there. My "freinds" said the ride wasnt scary at all, until i was locked in my seat. Then they said the seat restraints fail sometimes and people fall out. My eyes were squeezed shut for most of the ride.

I think mine is a toss up inbetween a Thunderhead night ride and an Apollo's Chariot night ride. Both of these incredible rides give a unique experience at night.

Riding Nemesis at Alton Towers completely naked along with 40 other naked riders, including some very pretty girls and two naked "Page 3" ladies from The Sun newspaper.
That was thrilling!
Clothed - it would have to be riding front seat of Top Thrill Dragster.

I can't get over how people can actually get a chance to ride nude on a coaster. Must be PAINFUL on their backside!
BTW: Happy Milestone, David :)

My first coaster was "Dueling Dragons". That first drop is fun and scary, although the Dudley Do right falls ride was under construction I was sad so I saw this masvie invert through the trees. The loops look close off the ride but when your on the ride your about 3ft apart. By the way can you tell me what the Dudley Do Right Falls is like?

Thanks for all your best wishes.
The chance of riding nude probably won't happen in USA - even in the UK it makes national news. Two of the four events I have done have been official Guinness World Record attempts, one the idea of Thorpe Park, the other an idea by ITV, who were making a TV programme celebrating 50 years of the Guinness Records.
Sometimes parks or media contact the coaster clubs for unusual stuff. One of the record events I heard about through a naturist group (internet group) I belong to.
David.
PS - it didn't hurt my backside any more than riding clothed...well the two B&M inverters didn't. The wooden coaster riding was a little different, but not uncomfortable...just a little cold!

I have two coaster experiences that stand out in my mind as my most thrilling.
1. Riding Apollo's Chariot in the front row with a disposable camera in my hands. It was very high up, and I couldn't hang on to the bars, lest I toss my camera out of the coaster car. :p That was the only time I was actually scared on a roller coaster, and it wasn't too long ago, either.
2. Riding Kraken a few months ago. a: that zero-g roll is the best, most insane one I've ever experienced, and then b: going under the tunnel. Stretching my arm out, I touched the waterfall, I thought that was great. Also, c: on the on-ride picture, we imitated those 'see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil' monkeys. :haha: Sadly, we're poor so we couldn't buy it. . . :(

Stealth at Thrope Parka few weeks ago! I expect TTD or KK are better, but I haven't ridden them!
Air at Alton Towers, solely because of the cars!
And of course KraKen!
Well, I haven't had very many.
I thought Thunderhead was awesome when you go through the station on the fly-through. That was fun. I also liked it when we were at the top of Dragster. Really cool looking at the ground from 420 ft.

Oh yeah, David! You should ride Stealth in the nude! LOL, the second time I rode that I somehow whacked my back on the seat, I don't know how. As it's such a smooth ride! That did me out for the rest of the day (even though I then went on to ride Stealth again, Colossus three times, and Nemisis Inferno! So it couldn't have been that bad!)

Well, i went on Mr.Freeze once and it was front row, at night, and my first ride on it. that was pretty fun but ill have to say every time i go on either Raging Bull or Deja Vu at my home park, front row is amazing and ill give ya that.

If they give me a chance I would...but it wouldn't set any new records, so I guess the park won't be doing that. Nemesis Inferno naked was thrilling, but very cold as they left the mist on in that tunnel!!
Superman at SFNE is still my favourite steel coaster - we had two hours exclusive riding on it, 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the dark at night - superb!
It's funny that many coasters take on a totally new level of thrill in the dark. We rode Raven at Holiday World in the total dark, and after that 5th drop you have no idea which way the coaster will go next...pitch black riding is so cool.
In fact I could name dozens of very thrilling moments on coasters in total darkness...it is hard to chose one over another.
David.

I wonder what air is like at night. It's always so nice to see the sky above you when you're on your back, it's really a flying sensation. A black sky would be freakish.

Had so many, it's hard to pick one, but I'd say my first ride on Cedar Point's Raptor in 1994.
It was raining a bit when I got in line, but the skies really opened up just as my train pulled out of the station, with me in the front seat. It was the last train sent before the ride was shut down due to weather.
I got totally soaked, and had an absolute blast.
