Street Legality

So since this is a a bit off topic, sorry. But I can't find this anywhere... icbc sucks.

So if there is anyone out there from Canada (BC in particular) do you know where i can find the specifications on how to make a vehicle street legal. ie. can't be lower than 5 cm . or whatever it is, cuz i'm thinking of building a street legal buggy, and i really need these, and i can't find them anywhere, Thanks for the help.

Doesnt Canada have something Similar to the DMV? Check there.
