I want to see the new Challenger and the 1970 Challenger. I would like to see a 1970 HEMI Cuda. A 69 Roadrunner. The new Charger SRT-8 and the Chysler 300C SRT-8. And a 67 Barracuda Fastback.I want to also see 69 Camaros,the mid 80s IROC Z Camaros,and the new Camaro concept. Also 1970 Chevelle and a Nova SS. A few Mustangs like the 5.0 Stangs of the Early 90s,67 Shelby GT500 KR and the new GT500.Thats what I would like to see. Games now just dont have enough Modern and Classic Muscle cars. Thats what I think I and I fiqure most of you may agree.

I agree- I mean I am a huge mustang fan and all so this may be pretty biased but no games ever have the 87-93 stang in them. They are such a huge area of the stang dynasty I dont know why they keep getting left out.

I would like to see a lot of american muscle. Chargers, Cuda's, GTO's ect...This country was built on those cars, lets see them be apreciated :)

maybe in the drag strip but what about like 4 5 miles in the free way ????

top speed on the enzo is about 220mph maybe more muscle cars jus ttake of like rocket that all am iright dont be mad if im wrong abotu the muscle cars but thats what ive seen in speed channel they just take off fast but they have ****y top speeds like 150 175 around there

Dude, that is not true at all. Maybe if the cars were tuned for drag racing, but no '70s Mustang or any muscle car could touch cars like the Ferrari 512BB, 365 GT4 BB, Countach LP400-500S, or even the Miura PV400 S of '72.

In the '60s the muscle cars beat the exotics at the strip, but the exotics outran the muscle cars on the track. Muscle cars will be fun to drag race online. The classic exotics will be fun to drive on the twisty roads, with their oh so lovely high rvving engines. And then the beasty roar of V8's (hopefully they get the V8 sounds correct, most games don't).

Yeah agreed, musclecars wouldn't beable to take on that, so its a good thing there are still many other cars to be in this game that they could contend with.

Depending on how much in the way of aftermarket performance parts there are in the game, it would be possible to setup a musclecar to contend with them in terms of raw power / top speed. No way to give them handling, lol :haha:

I dont think anyone is trying to say that muscle cars could beat exotics on a track. We all know thats not going to happen. On the flip side an exotic is not going to beat a muscle car on the strip.

However with the correct amount of money sunk into a muscle car's suspension I have seen it done. I have watched a good friend of mine with an 88 mustang install sick suspension and out run plenty of exotics.

Anyways I guess my point is this: If you put more muscle cars in the game then your adding another angle to the game. WE can make our own race rules...whats wrong with drag racing? It would improve another area of racing in the game. I dont want to dragrace the same 5 muscle cars. I would like there to be some variety.

I dont want to come off like I am a "muscle car only guy" either. I like imports and exotics that are tastefully done and are actually sports cars. My attitude is basically if you drive a civic with a fart can and a wing blow me...but if you actually did something like dropped a spoon engine in it with a turbo we can be friends ;)

I have a lot of friends with high end imports and I really like them a lot. My next project will be a 93 RX7 without any doubts.

Supercar of the 60s Ferrari 250 GTO. Not to mention it was also going alot faster than the american brands at the time it was out. It took the US 7 years to catch up and then they still couldn't turn a corner.

I'm a muscle car fan for sure but don't kid yourself. There were even better cars than these in America which aren't technically "muscle cars" what about the 67-69 427 Vettes. Whack a Yenko in a straight line and then turn left at the next set of lights.:)

I drag raced someone today in instant challenge mode...just challenge them on a a straight, set the finish somewhere out there...super easy. Of course, informal drag races through traffic are easy too, just like you might in real life (shame on you!) Just pull up to some one, beep the horn, rev her up, tease them a little, then punch it...or just yell "Betcha' can't catch me!" to whoever you're beside and take off....simple.

I agree those need to be in. But to be fair to us import guys we'd need the newer STI and evo. Maybe even some others to fill in the void.I do love the LS1 motor though. Even the LT1 is a motor where you empty the ash tray and gain 10 whp. Id also like to see some 87-93 mustangs with the 302/5.0. This is a supercar/exotic/not cars you see everyday game though. Its great how it is but dreaming of other cars is always a good thing.

The only thing I dont like is they use the 5.0 liter 305 Camaro, instead of the 327 or 350.

But I sure love it anyhow!

Also wish they would have the 05'/06' 6.0 liter 400HP GTO and not the 04' 350HP 5.7

I got 3rd stage upgrade for z28 today, but it is still slow. Oh well it is fun car dough. Little advice: dont waste 60k upgrading it because it is wont be fast enough. Stock is fun enough to drive.

I'm for it. We thought they'd already have it on here but I guess they just go for the ones that are more mainstream for kids who don't really know about cars but just like them. Know what I mean?
You ask some 15 yr old kid what a 'cuda is or anything other than the charger (since it was in dukes of hazard) and they won't have a clue...
But yeah, I think they need to add more. I'm over the rice/foriegn crap in the video games. They need to make things more appealing to other generations or to the real car people. I'm not talkin crap about anybody.
Also, it would have been a good idea to open the drag strip up on the game, there aren't any games that are street and drag and the drag strips are full of street racers on test n tune nights. It wouldn't have been realistic though since they closed the drag strip here (on Oahu)

Anyone who is comparing speeds is missing the point. Muscle cars started the whole hot road frenzy for your average car owner. SO, there should be a lot more in the game....I'd love to see some muscle clubs go head to head.

Ok, saw this crap and HAD to respond...

No, youre right an old school ZL1 or Nickey or Dana or Yenko etc... cant hang with an enzo.

But ya know what? With the SIX HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS that I save, I can buy a nice brand new house, a whole bunch of stocks/cd's AND a new Ford GT.

But seriously if you put about 1/4 the money of the enzo into the camaro you get "Big Red" or "the Mule" both of which can run with the likes of a ferrari / lambo / etc... (Big Red has crushed many italian exotics in the silverstate classic).

In actual point of fact, American muscle doesn't get any better than the Ford GT and the Z06 vette (unless you can afford an S7). These are two WORLD CLASS performance cars for a fraction of the price of the euro-trash. In head to head tests they beat the likes of the Galardo, the Murcialago (sp?), the Porsche GT2, Porsche GT3, the Ferrari F430, etc... and they do it for a much lower price.

The only cars whic post better numbers than a Ford GT are things like the S7, the Enzo, the F1, the Venron (sp?), etc... all of which start at 440,000 (naturaly aspirated s7, the turbo is about 100k more) and go up from there...

And we wont even go into what happens when you hang a Stage 6 Motorsports twin turbo kit on a Ford GT... (bye bye)

this is true however, these muscle cars were not the fastest. a 1970 chevelle LS6 454 could kill all of those cars. this car had about 550 actual horse power, the car was underrated in horse power by GM so people think that it only had about 450 horsepower.

I never understand why games put in the weaker Shelbys. It infuriated me when GT 4 put in a GT 350, and now Test Drive puts in the 67 GT 500 and that is the only classic 'Stang we get. No 68 GT 500 KR, no 69 Mach 1, no Boss 429.

I wouldn't mind seeing a Cobra R, but to put a Fox Box 5.0 would be just misguided.

I wouldn't mind seeing a Roush Stage 3 tho...
