Are they really going to take Vortex out? Is it really sinking into the ground?

No, You Crazy.

They're taking out SoB before they take out Vortex.

And I'm being serious. The Fate of SoB is uncertain after the accident.

I'd have to agree with Okinawaboy, whatever they were thinking about Vortex, it's on hold until after they deal with SoB, which according to reports has a broken timber.

Aren't all Arrows sinking into the ground? I know Magnum's lost 74 feet in the last 15 years, or at least you think it would be with all the reports of it sinking.

^^Well maybe they can remove Vortex and put in a Intamin woodie, it would be a little lighter.:haha: ...and it would go well with the Intamin mega that sould replace SOB.;)

There's really not enough room for them to put a good woodie in that area. They've put in a few things behind it that would create problems with construction of a full size wooden coaster. And even if they did remove SoB, they would still have two wooden coasters in the park. Plus, the woodie would actually end up being heavier than a steel coaster would be.

With the possibility that both SoB and Top Gun will come down, they've got room for two coasters. No matter what they do, I prefer a coaster that would provide some thrills. Airtime is fine, but that gets boring after a while when it's all you've got.

Have you been on a Intamin mega or woodie? There's more than just airtime.;)

...and for the record, I wouldn't expect them to put in both an Intamin mega and woodie.;) It was all in jest.:D
