Connection Problems

Hello im having a problem with UT, yes i know my username is stupid but i tried for like 10 minutes and every name was taken so this is what i came up with, anyways onto my problem

every server i connect to i have this rubberbanding effect every few seconds where everything like skips, my pings is like 100-130 and no packetloss whatsoever, im on a laptop with wireless but i tried it with a rj45 and i still had the same issues - i tried forwarding the ports but it worked the same (7777 - 7783) i love UT and just installed it to find that tons of people still play which is exciting cuz i love this game, but i cant enjoy multiplayer in the slighest with this problem im having, please help! :(

whats your internet connection?

i aint tried ut on a wireless connection, but id imagine itd be sparky at best... keep testing with the cable, then when your up and running switch to wireless....

also, it sounds like your getting lag, is the laptop fairly high powered? if so, see my sig for speedstep problems.
